After walking through the dense forest you will better understand that forests are in a constant state of change. Moreover, you will explore lava caves of Aokigahara forest created by the last major eruption of Mount Fuji. No electricity and no handrails, so you have to rely only on your five senses. Enjoy being an explorer!
Explore the mysterious world of jet-black darkness, relying solely on the light of the headlights! Proceed while firmly supporting the rugged rock made of lava with both feet and hands at three points. The back of the cave is a world where the temperature is 0 ° C all year round! There is ice all over the ground. In the back of the cave, you can see "icicles" and "ice stakes" throughout the year.
We will go to the main event "Lava Cave" while explaining and observing the mysterious nature of "Aokigahara Jukai". The accompanying guide will explain the origin of the name "Aokigahara Jukai", the origin of the Jukai, and the origin of the lava cave, which is rare in the world.
The cave where the program is held is relatively large and can be enjoyed by a wide range of people from elementary school students to the elderly. The instructor will lead you and tell you about the precautions and techniques in the cave before entering the cave. We will proceed according to the participants without overdoing it. Even beginners can participate with confidence.

Country Lake Systems 1F reception
From the Chuo Expressway Kawaguchiko IC, take R139 toward Lake Motosu. Turn right at the Higashi Koi Road intersection, cross the Kawaguchiko Bridge, turn left along the side road from just before the second traffic light, and go straight. At the first traffic light, turn left along the road, cross the tunnel and 400m ahead on the right.
From Kawaguchiko Station ⇒ Take a tour bus (retro bus / omnibus) ⇒ Approximately 26 minutes ⇒ Get off at "Kitahamaso-mae" ⇒ 1 minute walk in the direction of return.
There is also a pick-up service from Kawaguchiko Station, but it cannot be picked up during busy times such as consecutive holidays.
