Welcome! I'm Kawahara, owner of Yakushima Diving Guide [Yumekogokoro]. We opened in April 2013. Since its registration as a World Heritage Site in 1993, Yakushima has been bustling with tourists every year. Yakushima has more to offer than just its mountains: its ocean. We want more and more people to see and enjoy its ocean. We hope you'll experience the same "dreamlike" feeling of encountering the Jomon Cedar trees. In 2025, we rebranded as a "Beginners Only" diving experience. Our introductory diving courses offer three options: two premium courses, which offer a premium experience that defies industry standards, and one standard course, allowing you to choose the plan that best suits you. We offer a one-of-a-kind experience that won't disappoint.

We provide high-quality trial diving with absolute confidence and peace of mind! I have been an instructor for 21 years. I came to Yakushima in 2009 and have always wondered how to make the many tourists enjoy themselves while ensuring their safety and security. With that in mind, I have always thought about the content of trial diving and have been evolving it day by day. Now, by thoroughly practicing even during play and thoroughly learning how to deal with problems, we have established high quality trial diving as well as safety and security. People tend to decide which shop to apply to based on the price and the impression of the website, but please come and experience a dream-like trial diving experience! Beginners & blanks, senior divers are welcome!
With my 20 years of experience as an instructor, I believe I can give more accurate and proactive advice that will satisfy the guests themselves. In the past, I thought that local guides should not give instructions, but now I actively give advice. This is because I believe that I should be an instructor before being a guide.

1ダイブ目にきちんとダイビングスキルを練習する事で2ダイブ目はスキルや精神的にもゆとりを持ってダイビングを楽しめたのではないかと思います。練習かなり大事ですよね！
お客様それぞれダイビングに慣れるまでの時間は異なるので、その方に合ったペースで助言をする事心がけております。その点をお褒め頂き大変嬉しく思います。
