Nokogiriyama is known as a lesser known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. With its jagged ridgeline resembling the teeth of a saw, and the remains of the quarry where Boso stone was quarried by the stone-cutting industry until the Showa era, it looks like an abandoned building, and this otherworldly space that appears in the middle of nature has become popular. On this tour, you will pass through the streets of Kanaya, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry, and climb the "Sharikko Road," a road that once transported quarried stone, with a guide. While enjoying the climb, which is low above sea level but has a large elevation difference, you will feel the breath of the craftsmen of the time, and trace the history of how Boso stone supported Japan's modernization and declined over time.

【Course Outline】The course takes place in Toke region, located in the middle of Chiba peninsula (about 30 minutes from both Tokyo Bay and the Pacific Ocean). This area is the highest elevation in Chiba City and is upstream of three rivers (Kashima River, Murata River, and Konaka River) that flow into the Pacific Ocean, Tokyo Bay, and Tone River. This course takes advantage of this topography to provide a mindful experience of letting the current of the Boso Peninsula's water veins flow through you (surrendering your body and mind to gravity). At some points, we will allow 3 to 5 minutes to get away from the mindset of "I have to do something" and have a time to be in a state of blank amazement (a time to let 1) Breath of sapiens Zen walk (approx 3.6km) along the dragon vein from Showa-no-mori park, the highest natural park in Chiba City and one of the largest in Chiba Prefecture. 2) Yomogi (Mugwort) herb steaming sauna (by Megumi aka Meguru_kenko.pro)3) Omakase sushi with the ingredients (except some fishes) that are produced by the same community (by Shinya aka sushi_sapiens))
