Our SUP tour is held in the middle reaches of the clear Naka River. It is held near the border between Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures. From the meeting point, we move upstream in a tour vehicle and conduct a beginner's training in a still water area. Once you are familiar with the operation method, you can start the river rafting. You will ride the gentle current of the river and reach the goal at the riverside near the meeting point in about 2 hours. SUP is not paddled while standing, but you can paddle while sitting or lying on your back. You can enjoy it in any position. Many wild birds and fish live in the Naka River. Black kites spread their wings wide in the sky, herons and ducks rest on the riverbank, and you may see a beautiful blue kingfisher crossing near the water surface. In summer, sweetfish jump, and in autumn, salmon swim upstream to spawn. Enjoy the scenery of the natural countryside as you drift leisurely. 家族で初めてSUPを体験しました。脚がつかない大きな川で流されてしまうのでは?と不安でしたが、かなり本格的な救命ベストを付けていたので安心出来ました。流れが速いところもありますが、インストラクターの方々が、親切に丁寧に教えてくれたので本当に初心者でも大丈夫です。コツを掴めば、案外、簡単にボードの上に立って、パドルで気持ちよく漕ぐ事ができます。自然と水に癒されて、今ここ、にいられた感じでとてもリフレッシュできて、集中できて楽しむ事ができました。スタッフのみなさん、ありがとうございました。
