Yurigahama is a mysterious beach that can only be visited for one week around the 1st and 15th of the lunar calendar. We will guide you on a glass boat. The white sand is called "star sand". It is named for its star shape, and it is said that if you take home as much sand from Yurigahama as your age, you will be blessed with good fortune. *Yurigahama only appears when certain conditions such as spring tide and tide level are met. If it does not appear, you will only be able to enjoy the glass boat tour. *The glass boat to Yurigahama is set to coincide with the lowest tide. Please join us for a handmade experience where you can experience the beautiful colors and the fun of hand-weaving. After the experience, you can take a walk in the elegant Japanese garden that shows the expressions of the four seasons and the Amami-style garden that reproduces the virgin forest of Amami.

Vegetable dyeing refers to the process of dyeing cloth by extracting pigments from flower petals, grass, and tree branches. This vegetable dyeing is also used in some of the dyeing techniques of Oshima Tsumugi. At Amami-no-Sato, you can actually dye handkerchiefs and other cloth products with plant dyes to create original scarves in deep colors. Before you go out on the public road, please remember the basics of driving in the facility. A dedicated supporter is attached to the passenger seat to provide guidance and assistance in driving. Vehicles used are fully managed for vehicle inspections, voluntary insurance, etc., so they can handle accidents.
