The Northern Alps International Art Festival 2024 will be held from Friday, September 13th to Monday, November 4th, 2024. Upon request, you can enjoy art on a SUP. If you would like to enjoy the art, you will need to purchase an appreciation passport or individual appreciation ticket. Canadian canoeing with your family on the crystal clear Lake Aoki. It would be fun if we could do it, but... There aren't that many boats... It would be a burden to bring it from home to the car... That's right, let's rent it and have fun!! If it is held on a lake, there must be at least one person for every three boats who has attended the school for more than two hours or who has participated in a tour for more than two hours. Please act together with other participants who have attended the school for more than two hours or who have participated in a tour for more than two hours. If we determine that the skills of a participant who has attended the school for more than two hours or who has participated in a tour for more than two hours is not sufficient, we will immediately cancel the rental. Fees will not be refunded. If you would like to hold the event on a river, please contact us separately. This is an activity that dogs can also participate in. Two dogs per family can be used for up to two hours. Please refrain from entering the area except the parking lot, the path to the lake, A Area 1, A Area 2, and the pier. Please refrain from dogs that bark continuously.

It is a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) experience tour that can be enjoyed freely by infants and adults at the small natural lake "Matsubara Lake" at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake in Nagano Prefecture. Speaking of outdoor sports that can be enjoyed by family and friends ... !! SUP is the best! In the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd outdoors, there are plenty of rental tools for everyone to enjoy! There is also free time! You can make the best memories using SUP! Dogs are also welcome! It is the only school in Nagano prefecture that is officially recognized by SIJ (Japan SUP Leaders Association). ~ Flow of the day ~ ① Fill in the reception agreement and settle at the site. Changing clothes and renting rental equipment in the changing room (required time: 15 to 30 minutes) ② Guide introduction, preparatory exercise, etc. After changing clothes, pre-training on land for preparatory exercise and paddle (rowing tools) (required time: 15 minutes) ③ First half of the lake : Let's paddle to the lake! In the first half of the lake, we will teach you how to ride, row and play SUP. (Time required: 50 minutes) * There is a break time of about 10 minutes after the end of the first half. ④ Free time Second half of the lake: Sumo, connected SUP, tail turn, water gun firing with friends! Let's enjoy freely on SUP! (Time required: 50 minutes) ⑤ End of experience Return the rental equipment. Change your clothes in the changing room and warm yourself up at the one-day hot spring (Yahho-no-Yu: discount ticket distribution) near the end!

On February 10th, the Aoki Lake Fisheries Association conducted an investigation and concluded that the fishing season will not be lifted this year. This year, there has been a lot of snowfall, and water has come out between the snow and ice. The temperature is expected to rise in the next few days, so the ice will melt due to the water, and the ice strength will not be maintained. You can look forward to boat fishing for smelts at Lake Nakatsuna in the green season. The green season Aoki Lake/Lake Nakatsuna smelt boat fishing, tempura, and day camp includes a tempura set rental, so it is a recommended plan for those who want to enjoy smelt fishing and tempura casually! The opening of the winter fishing season for smelt holes at Lake Nakatsuna depends on the weather and smelt resources. It was not lifted in 2025, 2024, or 2023. It was lifted in 2022, but not in 2021. This area is a cold region with a lot of snowfall. When there is a lot of snowfall, the snow acts as a cold protection and true ice does not form. Snow and ice form, but they cannot support the weight of a person. The hours for hole fishing at Lake Nakatsuna are 7:00-16:00 (2026 dates are yet to be determined). There are two sets available: Winter Lake Nakatsuna Smelt Hole Fishing Set + Tempura Set Rental and Winter Lake Nakatsuna Smelt Hole Fishing Set. The Winter Lake Nakatsuna Smelt Hole Fishing Set + Tempura Set Rental includes a tempura set rental, so it is a recommended plan for those who want to casually enjoy smelt fishing and tempura! This is the perfect course for those who are worried about flying a paraglider alone, but still want to experience a walk in the sky. This is a course where you fly in a two-seater with an instructor. Leave all the difficult maneuvers to us. Our veteran instructors will fully support you. You can enjoy a walk in the sky for about 7 to 15 minutes. You can also take photos with your smartphone or compact camera. Choose a flight area according to the wind, Aoki Village in the morning and Ikusaka Village in the afternoon. We will increase your chances. In the morning, the flight scenery in Aoki Village is Utsukushigahara - Yatsugatake - Mt. Asama - Mt. Nekodake - Mt. Azuma, and the gentle mountains of Higashi-Shinshu. In the afternoon, in Ikusaka Village, you will fly over the eternal Sai River (a tributary of the Shinano River, the longest in Japan). Both offer views unique to Nagano.

Lake Aoki in Nagano Prefecture is a very clear lake, so why not take a walk on the lake? The water level of Lake Aoki drops in winter, so you can enjoy a different lake in spring than in summer! Because the water temperature is low due to melting snow, wetsuits are recommended and only experienced SUP participants are allowed. Until the end of May, those who have never tried SUP will not be able to apply. A plan to support active people who want to make the most of their short break! This is a mini-experience tour where you can ride a mountain bike through a real forest during a light running time before breakfast. It takes less than an hour from meeting to disbanding (※It may vary slightly depending on the environment on the day, but please assume it will take about 45 to 50 minutes). There is no climbing, only descending, so even those who are not physically fit can feel at ease! It is possible to experience mountain biking easily. If you can ride a bike and have a little courage, you can participate empty-handed (all rental equipment is included in the price) (Note) You can easily participate empty-handed, but since you will be riding a mountain bike through real nature, your clothes and shoes may get a little dirty depending on the weather and other conditions, so it is better to be wild and not worry about that, or bring a change of clothes.

Himekawa rafting while enjoying the superb view of Hakuba at Himekawa, where snowmelt and spring water flows from the mountains of Hakuba! A half-day course of about 2.5 hours that can be selected from 09:15 am / 13:30 pm. Since it is located in Hakuba Village, it is easy to make other plans, so you can feel free to participate♪The flow is relatively gradual, so even elementary school children and first-timers can enjoy it without worry!
