What is a packraft? Originally conceived as a portable travel (exploration) tool in Alaska, it was developed to enable travelers to navigate through all kinds of wilderness, including mountains, rivers, oceans, and valleys. A "packraft" is an inflatable boat that can be easily packed into a backpack and easily inflated for paddle cruising or downriver riding on lakes and rivers. Tour Overview: At 1,269 meters above sea level, Lake Chuzenji in Nikko National Park is the highest lake in Japan. Pack your packraft in your backpack and head out for a trek! Trek through the pristine, quiet forest, untouched by traffic and open only to foot traffic.
