This is a tour that walks around the three observatories on the east side of Kushiro Marsh National Park. Hosooka Observatory - Sarubo Observatory - Sarurun Observatory. Hosooka Observatory can be reached by car! Light trekking to Sarubo Observatory and Sarurun Observatory! First, enjoy the scenery of the Kushiro Marsh and the Kushiro River. 10:20 Move to the next destination, Toro! It takes about 25 minutes from Hosooka Observatory to Toro. When we arrive at Toro around 10:45, we stop by the station and take a restroom break. 11:00 Arrive at the parking lot under the Salvo Observatory! After parking the car, it's about a 20 minute trek from here to the Sarubo Observatory. After seeing the scenery at 11:30, move to Sarurun Observatory! It takes about 25 minutes to trek to Sarurun Observatory. 11:55 Arrival at Sarurun Observatory! Drinks are available, so please relax while watching the scenery. Get off at the parking lot where you parked the car around 12:20. 12:50 After using the restroom at Toro Station, head to Toya Station. 13:30 Arrive at Toya Station! It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. This trekking tour covers all of the Shiretoko Five Lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a special protected area of Shiretoko National Park, including the elevated boardwalk. This is a approximately 10km tour that runs from the forest road around Tokachigaoka through the hot spring town. You can enjoy the variety of Tokachi, from forest roads to roads that run alongside fields, to roads along rivers. Take photos and have tea time while your guide guides you around. Best of all, it's a bicycle tour that you're used to riding on a regular basis, so it's also recommended for those who don't like exercise or those who have been working at a desk lately and want to get some exercise. A new private canoe tour course from 2010, where you can enjoy the powerful wetland nature and meanders. Kayanuma - Sugawara Entry from the Kushiro River meander restoration area. Down the meandering Kushiro River to Sugawara. This is a course where you can feel the beginning of the marsh (uppermost part). Yezo deer, kingfishers, and red-crowned cranes may come to greet you.

Take a relaxing two-seater kayak down the Tokachi River, a large river that flows slowly for about 6 km. You are in charge of rowing yourself! The guide will support you in a separate kayak. Let's go on a river trip together ^^ If you're lucky, you might encounter rare wild birds such as the red-crowned crane or the white-tailed eagle, or even observe the willow tree, which has a very small habitat in Japan! We also recommend looking out over the majestic Hidaka Mountains from the river for a beautiful view. On the way, in Nakasu, you can collect obsidian (Tokachi stone) that can only be found here and take it home as a souvenir! ! It looks like a stone on the riverbank, but inside it's actually beautiful black glass. You'll feel like you're looking for a little gem. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time.
