Departing from and arriving at Sapporo Station! We will introduce two recommended spots for bird watching in the winter forest around Lake Utonai. This is a tour for beginner birdwatchers. There is a lunch break along the way. We will start by explaining how to use binoculars, how to look for birds, and how to take good photos while walking around the field. Basically, the path is well-maintained, so small children (5 years old and up) can participate. This tour is recommended for those who want to start bird watching or who want to observe birds at different spots once in a while. This guided tour can be given in English.

Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes and view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are protected species of birds. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact you via your mobile device and, depending on your preference, we will cancel the tour or reschedule the tour after the weather improves.

Shiretoko is a treasure trove of wildlife. On this tour, you will travel by car into the national park at night, and after a lecture, you will search for wildlife while riding in the car. The excitement of spotting the glowing eyes of an animal hiding in the darkness at the end of your light will surely become an irreplaceable memory. Enjoy the rich nature of Shiretoko through this tour, which has the highest rate of wildlife encounters of any of our tours. *There will be no walking tours.

During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. Among them, we will guide you to the most suitable area, taking into account the weather and snow quality of the day, Mt. Mae-Tokachi, which is relatively easy to access. ~ Procedure of the day ~ 8:00 We will depart after giving a preliminary explanation and confirming the equipment. 10:30 Arrive at the summit If the weather is good, we will aim for the summit, but if the weather is bad, we will start skiing from the slope along the way. 12:00 Lunch: Students will eat their own food. 12:30 Return climb and ski start in the afternoon.Depending on the physical strength of the guests, we will climb back up 2-3 times. 15:00 Arrive at Shiroginsou Departure After descending the mountain, you can immediately enter the hot spring.

Among them, we will guide you to the most suitable area considering the weather and snow quality of the day, Mt. Sandan, which is relatively easy to access. ~ Flow of the day ~ 8:00 We will depart after checking the equipment before leaving Hakuginso or Ryounkaku. 10:30 Arrive at the summit If the weather is good, we will aim for the summit, but if the weather is bad, we will start skiing from the slope on the way. 12:00 Lunch Please have your own food. 12:30 Afternoon climb back up, slide return Considering the physical strength of the guests, we will climb back up 2 to 3 times. 15:00 Arrive at the departure base and enter the hot spring immediately after descending the mountain.
