This plan will take you to a traditional Japanese townhouse "Machiya" and participate in a tea ceremony in traditional costume in Kyoto. First, after arriving, you will be quickly dressed in a kimono made of real silk. After that, you will be guided around the townhouse built in the Meiji era. Listen to an explanation about the tea ceremony in the tea room and enjoy tea. You can experience the spirit of wabi-sabi as if you have traveled back in time to the Meiji era. The dresser will wear a mask, but customers can wear one if they wish. The return time is by 8pm, so you can enjoy Kyoto at night, including the light-up and meals. If you would like an evening session, we can change the time if there are reservations available, so please contact us early. If there are three or more people, please make a reservation for the next time slot. Located in the center of Kyoto City, you can reach Kiyomizu-dera Temple in the east, Arashiyama in the west, Kinkaku-ji Temple in the north, and Fushimi Inari in the south in less than 30 minutes. Experience cute Japanese writing with a "brush pen." Your favorite one will be mailed to the address of your choice! After practicing some basic calligraphy with a textbook, you will be asked to write in your favorite style on postcards featuring Japanese scenery. You will write on five postcards in total. Once you have completed one, you will choose one postcard and mail it to yourself or to a family member or friend via a Japanese post office. You will be able to take home the brush pen you used. We will provide the postcards for you. You can mail one and take the remaining four home with you. Why not enjoy cute Japanese kanji and hiragana?
