You can experience braiding at one of the few braiding classes in Fukuoka. Make your own original strap with braided cords, which have been a hot topic in popular anime movies. The couple plan includes tea and sweets. The thread is made of "silk", so you can make authentic ones. You can choose from a wide variety of combinations using the cherry blossom round stand, so let's create an original work that suits your taste. [Flow of the day] Please arrive by the meeting time. Miyama Porcelain Yumi is an experienced recreation facility built in "Satsuma-yaki no Sato Miyama" in Hioki, Kagoshima Prefecture. Currently, we are experiencing pottery experience to 4000 customers a year. In addition, we are also selling merchandise of modern Satsuma Co., Ltd. which runs the hotel, exhibition and sale of works made in pottery and workshops dotted in Miyama.

“Amami no Sato” is a tourist facility where you can experience the nature, culture, and lifestyle of Amami, even though it is located on the mainland of Kagoshima Prefecture. It is a plan to make an original strap using Oshima Tsumugi thread produced in the workshop in the hall. A strap made by putting a wish written inside the braided cord is very popular as a wonderful souvenir! Why don't you participate in making a strap with your precious thoughts? After the experience, you can take a walk in the elegant Japanese garden that shows the expressions of the four seasons and the Amami-style garden that reproduces the virgin forest of Amami.

This plan is for children only, where you weave the weft into the warp threads prepared in advance. You can experience the traditional crafts of Kagoshima. Please join us for a hands-on experience where you can casually experience the beautiful colors of Oshima Tsumugi and the joy of hand weaving. *Recommended for children aged 6 to 10 (height 120 cm or more). After the experience, you can stroll through the elegant Japanese garden, which changes with the seasons, and the Amami-style garden, which recreates the primeval forest of Amami.
