Zuko is a powdered incense that monks apply on their palms as a purifying scent in Buddhism. Among the Japanese scents that are used by transferring the scent to something, it is the only one that can be applied directly to the body. In ancient times, people used to collect the first morning dew that had accumulated on lotus leaves, mix sandalwood with the water, and apply it to their bodies. Unlike liquid scents, it is a powder type, so it has low volatility and does not easily diffuse into the surrounding area, making it a convenient scent that can be used without being noticed by those around you. Recommended for relaxing between work. Why not make your own original Goshuincho using [Shuso Washi], a traditional culture of Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture? Ehime's Mizuhiki is a traditional craft in eastern Ehime Prefecture (Shikoku Chuo City), and has a very long history as a Japanese culture that has continued since the Asuka period (592~) to the present day.
