At the local cooking experience class [Fujiya], we offer a hands-on experience of making "Yoshida Udon", a specialty of Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture! ☆★Introducing Fujiya☆★Nice to meet you. Please come visit our store when you are in the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introducing Yoshida's udon making experience☆★Yoshida's udon is a local dish of udon that is loved around Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is an unusual type of udon that is characterized by its hard and chewy noodles and toppings such as horse meat and cabbage. It has also been selected as one of the ``Top 100 Local Dishes from Rural Areas, Mountains, and Fishing Villages,'' selected from among the local flavors of each region. Yoshida's udon noodles are characterized by thick and chewy noodles, toppings made with horse meat and cabbage, and a soup made with miso and soy sauce. This is the only place in Japan where you can eat it with a spiciness called suridane. Yoshida's udon was originally a home-cooked dish, so each restaurant has its own characteristics. For example, some restaurants use beef or horse meat, and the sides vary in hardness and length. Although there are general rules, there are no clear rules, so the freedom of making them may also be a characteristic of Yoshida's udon. In this plan, customers will make udon noodles from powder. Enjoy with hot soup and toppings such as cabbage, fried tofu, and wakame. The content is quite extensive, so please come hungry. Our store also offers a dyeing experience where you can experience traditional Japanese dyeing techniques using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hotou experience.

Please come to our restaurant when you stop by the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introduction to the Houtou Making Experience☆★Houtou is a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture that is loved by many people. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and for a long time, "oneri for breakfast, barley rice for lunch, and pumpkin hoto for dinner" seemed to have been the standard for daily life in the rural areas of Koshu. In 2007, it was selected as one of the "100 Best Local Dishes of Rural Areas" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, which are known in farming, mountain and fishing villages all over Japan and are widely supported by the people. Unlike regular noodles, hoto noodles do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, you will make the noodles by hand from the powder state. It will be quite a voluminous meal, so please come hungry. We also offer a dyeing experience where you can experience the traditional Japanese dyeing technique using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hoto experience. In the dyeing experience, we will carefully explain each step, so those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with peace of mind. The natural feel of natural materials and the fact that you make it with your own hands will create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆Recommended for◆Those who want to try famous Yamanashi Prefecture dishesThose who want to make local Yamanashi Prefecture dishesThose looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka or Lake KawaguchiThose who want to experience cooking with their childrenThose looking for an experience programThose who are having trouble sightseeing on rainy daysThose looking for sightseeing in English*Due to the nature of our reservation system, all reservations are by request, but in most cases we can accept reservations at the time you wish.

The calligraphy of death is something that a samurai writes down with a brush as his last words in this world when he foresees his death. (Death refers to leaving this world) Customers can write their favorite kanji. You can select a character (kanji) and write it with an extra-large brush on SAMURAI paper (16 times the size of normal hanshi), which is made by combining two sheets of hanshi paper that is 8 times the size of normal hanshi paper. (Example) Yukimura Sanada's death note, ``If you go to live in an indefinite floating world, you will not know what will happen one day later.'' (In such an unstable world, we do not know what will happen tomorrow. Please think of Naniwa as something that doesn't exist in this world.'' Toyotomi Hideyoshi's deathbed writings, ``The dew falls, the dew falls and disappears.'' I wonder if Naniwa is also a dream within a dream (I became a citizen, but the dew fell and disappeared.) It was a life that seemed to disappear.)

Let's learn the bushido and experience the samurai spirit. What is the most important thing for a samurai? Wearing hakama, sandals, and a sword, and learning etiquette, manners, and kata. We call it the BUSHIDO sign.Next, as a BUSHIDO LEARN, you will experience the weight and sharpness of a real Japanese sword. We will learn the basics of swordsmanship (Battou and Nattou). We will take a break with SAMURAI TEA on the way. You will be entertained at a tea ceremony, as samurai risked their lives to "entertain" and "be entertained".Before participating in the final battle of the Warring States Period, the Battle of Osaka, the participants are asked to prepare for death and reflect on their own lives, writing their last words with a large brush on every piece of paper. This is called Deathbed calligraphy. At last, he puts on his armor and helmet to become a bushido master and goes to battle at the castle of Osaka to gain military merit in the battle of Osaka. However, when the defeat was imminent, the samurai, for the sake of honor, would not suffer the shame of the noose, even if they lost the battle, but would die by harakiri or cutting their belly before being captured.
