If the Fairy Terrace is closed, please come to the Furano Wine Research Institute. "Ningle Terrace" in Furano is a forest craft experience workshop based on a character from the novel by Japanese author So Kuramoto (to be precise, a 15cm tall elf who lives in a big forest). The small wooden houses here are small shops selling basically handmade unique accessories such as glass crafts, paper crafts, hand-painted paintings, and crafts made from dried lavender from Furano. Every shop is small and exquisite, and every product is sold only here and is one of a kind. The lights that are lit up at night are very romantic. Furano Wine Research Institute - "Furano Wine" made with locally grown grapes (sold only on days Fairy Terrace is closed) Half a century ago, in the 1960s, there were no grape vines in Furano, except for wild grapes that grew in the mountains. With a climate and terroir similar to Europe, Furano has a strong passion for winemaking, and the Furano City Grape and Fruit Research Institute was established to specialize in growing grapes for wine. More than 50 years have passed since its founding. During this time, many passionate people have participated in experimental research and product development, and today's popular Furano Wine was born. While there are wineries that use imported grapes, Furano Wine adheres to its founding spirit of "stimulating local agriculture through the wine business" and continues to make wine using locally grown grapes in Furano. This is a mixed tour, and participants come from all over the world.

Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch: On December 28, 1943, a large earthquake occurred near Mt. Usu on the shores of Lake Toya. As a result, the volcano erupted and the earth rapidly rose to form a tall mountain. Volcanic activity continued until September 10, 1945, and there were 17 relatively active volcanic events in two years. In commemoration of this volcanic activity, a new volcano with an elevation of 398 meters was designated a Special Natural Monument in 1957 and named "Showa Shinzan". It is a "new mountain" that is still growing, and white smoke can be seen constantly spewing from the reddish-brown mountains. ▼ At the bear ranch near the entrance to the Showa Shinzan cable car, about 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears are kept. ★ Rafting in Furano, Hokkaido ☆ The Sorachi River, which flows from the Taisetsu Mountain Range, is located in the upper reaches of the Sorachi River (also known as the Shisorapuchi River). Take a large, sturdy rubber boat down the beautiful Sorachi River for about 7 km. Rafting is highly recommended from late April to mid-May due to the flooding caused by the thaw, which is highly recommended. You can enjoy the autumn leaves depending on the season.

Noboribetsu Jigokudani was named for its hell-like atmosphere. ▼Oyunuma is a crater formed by the eruption of Mt. Hiyori. There is an observation deck here, where you can look at the steaming lake in front of you, or walk to the lakeside to experience it up close. Even during busy periods such as summer vacation and autumn holidays, you can experience the tranquility of Shiretoko here. This course passes through old development sites and forests to see the groundwater waterfalls that flow into the Sea of Okhotsk. On clear days, you can see the 200m high cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. Like "Furepe Falls," this is a course to see cliff waterfalls, but this one is a bit wilder, with no walking trails and requiring climbing over logs. If it becomes dangerous due to a storm or other reasons, we will contact you by mobile phone and, if you wish, we will cancel (free of charge) or introduce you to an available tour the next day or later (same price).

The inner parlor of Sapporo, the Jozankei area. Mt. Horai, a mountain at Nakayama Pass a little further back. Thanks to the altitude gained by car, you can enjoy a mountainous hike from the starting point. Due to the high altitude, there is still a lot of snow even in early winter and during the remaining snow season. The best times to visit are before the cold of early winter sets in and early spring when the weather is getting warmer. It's cold in the snowy mountains, so this tour is recommended for those who want to climb a snowy mountain and want to make their snowshoe debut. A professional guide will give lectures on the points of winter mountain walking. After descending the mountain, you can also drop in at Jozankei Onsen as an option!
