The inner parlor of Sapporo, the Jozankei area. Mt. Horai, a mountain at Nakayama Pass a little further back. Thanks to the altitude gained by car, you can enjoy a mountainous hike from the starting point. Due to the high altitude, there is still a lot of snow even in early winter and during the remaining snow season. The best times to visit are before the cold of early winter sets in and early spring when the weather is getting warmer. It's cold in the snowy mountains, so this tour is recommended for those who want to climb a snowy mountain and want to make their snowshoe debut. A professional guide will give lectures on the points of winter mountain walking. After descending the mountain, you can also drop in at Jozankei Onsen as an option!
Special equipment such as snowshoes and poles can be rented for free. In addition to the above, goggles, waterproof outerwear, and waterproof snow boots can be rented for a fee. Please let us know at the time of application if you wish to rent for a fee. The rental fee below is for each item.
