The Watatsu River is a first-class river with a length of 14.2 kilometers that originates in Kamiwatatsu, Kitahiroshima City, and flows into the Chitose River. This event is held throughout the year, and after observing insects in the forest (larvae from autumn to spring), parents and children will explore the creatures in the river. Put on gloves and go through the grass and turn over stones to catch fish and crayfish. Spring water and cold water points do not move, so you can catch them with your bare hands.
