富士山麓の風穴と樹海散策に家族で申し込みました。樹海の森の成り立ちや歴史、植生、溶岩のことなど、森を歩きながらガイドのトシさんのトークに時々「⁉︎」と笑いつつ、楽しく体験しました。風穴に近づくと、ひんやり冷気を感じながら下へ奥へと20mほど進んで行く道はまさに探検隊になったようでした。歩いている地面が全て氷で出来ていたり、真っ暗闇で地下水の音を聞きながら瞑想体験もできました。自然の雄大さと、神々しい景色、アドベンチャー気分が満喫できます。多様性あふれる樹海を歩くには、知識豊富なガイドはマスト！です。
夏に参加でしたが、冬場の幻想的な氷穴も見てみたいと思いました。
Our guide, Toshi San, was very informative. He explained the features of the forest; the animals, plants and organisms that maintain the ecosystem; and the history of the forest and the lava caves. The forest was amazing. When we reached the entrance of the cave, it seemed we entered another dimension. It’s a tour that made our Fuji trip memorable. It is definitely a side of the Fuji Kawaguchiko area that needs to be discovered.
Because of the foot of Mt. Fuji, there are precious and rare lava caves and ice. 130 years ago, when there was no refrigerator, the story of making use of this cave begins. This cave, an industrial heritage site, is worth a visit.
The world's unique Aokigahara Forest is the Sea of Trees, and the history of Japan's number one mountain becomes even more interesting when you learn about the relationship between Mt. Fuji and Aokigahara Forest.
