The town of Kitahiroshima began in 1884 when 25 households and 103 people who moved from Hiroshima Prefecture settled along this river. If you rummage through the bushes with a dip net, you will see various aquatic creatures. The river is just under 15 kilometers long, but you will be interested in the diverse creatures.
