Plan description

~Schedule for the day~ [08:00] ▼In front of JR Tokyo Station, Shin-Maru Building, under the BEAMS sign [08:30] ▼In front of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Shinjuku West Exit [10:30] ▼Hakone Shrine and Lake Ashi's Sea Torii Gate (approx. 80 minutes, free time) [12:10] ▼Hakone Pirate Ship ~ Motohakone Port ~ Togendai Port Route (approx. 25 minutes; if you don't board the pirate ship, arrive at Togendai Cable Car Station by car) [12:40] ▼Hakone Ropeway ~ Togendai Station ~ Owakudani Route (approx. 30 minutes, cable car fare included) [13:10] ▼Owakudani ~ Feel the atmosphere of the beautiful volcano that gave birth to Hakone ~ (approx. 50 minutes, free time) [15:00] ▼Shiratorihama Beach at Lake Yamanaka ~ Take a realistic photo of swans and Mt. Fuji in the same frame (approx. 20 minutes) [15:40] ▼Oshino Hakkai (approx. 40 minutes) [16:20] ▼Return to Tokyo [18:20] ▼We arrived at the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation entrance at the Marunouchi North Exit and Shinjuku West Exit of JR Tokyo Station, bringing a delightful end to our day's journey! ▼Owakudani - Experience the beautiful volcanic atmosphere that can be considered the origin of Hakone. Owakudani is located southeast of Mount Fuji in Hakone City and is a famous tourist spot in Hakone. Owakudani, a popular Japanese tourist destination, is the remains of a crater formed by a large eruption that occurred on the northern slope of Mount Kamiyama approximately 4,000 years ago during the final stages of Hakone volcanic activity. Most of Owakudani's spring water is toxic, so it is also known as "Great Hell." It wasn't until Emperor Meiji visited in 1876 that the name was changed to Owakudani. You can sample Owakudani's specialty, black eggs, at your own expense. ▼ Lake Yamanaka Shiratori Beach - Take a photo of a swan and Mt. Fuji in the same frame, creating a truly lifelike image. Lake Yamanaka, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, has a lakeside area known as "Shiratorihama" due to its large population of swans. This is a great place for bird watching and for taking photos of swans with Mt. Fuji in the background. The swans here are very friendly, as they are often fed by tourists. ▼ Oshino Hakkai: Oshino Hakkai is the collective name for eight pure springs formed when meltwater from Mt. Fuji flows through the earth's layers and filters. Oshino Hakkai is renowned for its beautiful natural environment. The sparkling waters of the ponds blend beautifully with Mt. Fuji, attracting photographers from far and wide to capture their beauty. Oshino Hakkai is a nationally designated natural monument. This tour is a shared tour, and participants come from all over the world. Starting September 5th, buses will depart 30 minutes earlier every Saturday and Sunday, excluding weekends, on September 15th, September 23rd, October 12th, November 3rd and November 24th.

Hakone Shrine and Lake Ashi's Sea Torii

Lake Ashi is a volcanic lake on Mount Hakone. It was formed about 3000 years ago and is the largest lake in Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a very famous tourist destination and a famous place where you can see Mount Fuji from afar. The red torii gate standing on Lake Ashi is the landmark of Hakone Shrine.

Hakone Pirate Ship - Motohakone Port - Togendai Port Route

The sightseeing boats and pirate ships on Lake Ashi are definitely the most special choice. Cruise around Lake Ashi and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The highlight of Lake Ashi, a popular tourist spot in Hakone, is the Hakone sightseeing boat! You can board a pleasure boat from three lakeside ports: Hakone-machi Port, Motohakone Port, and Togendai Port. The three boats are Royal II Southern European Royal Sun, Victory, and Queen Ashi Lake. Departing from Motohakone Port, you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Otorii Gate, Mt. Fuji, and Lake Ashi at the same time. We highly recommend departing from Motohakone Port! On a clear day, the sparkling lake surface and the blue sky blend together to create a beautiful and magnificent view. The one-way trip from Motohakone Port to Togendai Port takes about 30 minutes. 1,200 yen one way (self-pay)

Hakone Ropeway - Togendai Station - Owakudani Route

The most beautiful scenery on the Hakone Cable Car is near Owakudani and between Owakudani and Ubako. You can see the beautiful Mt. Fuji. The first half of the route from Ubako to Togendai is mainly a course to see the crater lake of Lake Ashi.
