Craft beer experience tour in Himeji, where beer is grown right down to the stem

We want to make and drink beer using hops we've grown ourselves! This passionate desire has spread, and hop cultivation is becoming more widespread in the satoyama and urban areas of the Harima region every year. While listening to stories about "beer grown right down to the hops," we visit a small, colorful village on the western edge of Himeji. At Zappa Village, we'll spend some time making malt pizza, made with malt from the beer brewing process. Once the delicious pizza we all made is baked, we'll toast with beer grown right down to the hops, and then have lunch. After spending some time in the lovely Zappa Village, we'll head to an authentic craft beer brewery for a tour of the factory and a toast with your favorite craft beer! This is a one-day tour that lets you experience the expanding craft beer culture in Himeji.

Visit the small, colorful Zappa Village on the western edge of Himeji. Everyone will make their own pizza using malt from the beer brewing process. Enjoy a lunch of freshly baked pizza with beer aged to perfection (for those aged 20 or older) - a special experience only possible on this tour.

The tour concludes with a visit to a full-scale craft beer brewery. After observing the brewing process up close and learning about the craft beer brewers' dedication, you can toast with your favorite craft beer (*Must be 20 years of age or older).
