We recommend renting a kimono at a shop in Kiyomizu-dera Temple and returning it at a shop in Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Customers are responsible for the fee.) Course 3: "Nara Park" where "deer and autumn leaves" are woven together The contrast between the autumn leaves and evergreen trees is vivid Course 4: Todai-ji Temple (customer pays admission fee) Todai-ji Temple was built in the Nara period. Nara is popular with tourists and once served as the capital of Japan. It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as one of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara". Todaiji Temple has eight national treasure buildings, 14 buildings with 24 national treasure Buddhas, and nine other national treasures such as paintings and books. The famous Great Buddha, the Great South Gate, the Kongorikishi standing statues, and the Hokke-do Hall, as well as the Buddha statues enshrined therein, are all national treasures. There are few places in Japan where you can see so many national treasures at once. Admission fees: Todaiji Great Buddha Hall: Adults (junior high school students and above) 600 yen, elementary school students 300 yen; Great Buddha Hall and Todaiji Museum: Adults (junior high school students and above) 1000 yen, elementary school students 400 yen This is a mixed tour, and participants will come from all over the world.
Nara Park is an urban park located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa in Nara City. Famous scenic spots and historical sites of Nara, such as Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, can be found here. It is a must-see place for tourists in Nara. Mount Wakakusa, located near the park, is a great place to see the scenery of Nara. Traditional events such as the "Wakakusayama Yaki" are also held here every January. A leisurely stroll is the best way to visit this park. It is also the place where the most deer live, and feeding the cute fawns is also a big attraction for tourists. The deer here are also very smart. If the deer see a tourist holding a deer biscuit, they will approach, so be careful of the herd of deer that will attack you.
Kiyomizu-dera is a World Heritage site where you can enjoy the cultural assets and nature of Kyoto, and is home to famous sites such as the Niomon Gate, the three-story pagoda, and the main hall. Kiyomizu-dera is located on a small mountain on the east side of Kyoto, and offers a commanding view of the city. The stage supported by the temple's huge pillars is one of Japan's famous landscapes. Kiyomizu-dera is proud to present a unique view of each season. The hills are covered with cherry blossoms in spring, fresh green leaves in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and trees in winter. There is no bad time to visit. (Admission fee: 400 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary and junior high school students) Admission fees are at the customer's expense.
[Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka] Outside Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka are quaint slopes with a Kyoto-like atmosphere and are designated as a national "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings". On both sides of the stone slope, there are Japanese architectures full of good old charm, with a strong Japanese feel. Various delicacies, folding fans, dolls, chopsticks and other crafts are eye-catching. [Ishibekoji] Turn right at the end of Ninenzaka and walk north to see Ishibekoji. There are few tourists here. On both sides of the cobblestone road, quaint traditional Japanese houses stand, away from the hustle and bustle, giving you a sense of tranquility as if you had traveled back in time. [Gion Hanamikoji] This is a famous flower street since ancient times. In the 1960s, Kyoto had nearly 1,000 geisha. Even today, there are dozens of traditional geisha teachers in tea ceremony, flower arrangement, koto, gagaku, kyogen, maiko, Bunraku and other traditional arts. Entering Hua Street, you will see beautiful teahouses lined up on both sides, with wooden lattice windows and tightly closed doors, exuding an ancient atmosphere. It is a mysterious alley stretching from north to south for about 1 kilometer. The north is modern and the south is traditional, with the north and south each having their own unique style.
