Plan description

This mountaineering project is a trial course at Mountain Support Yamaya for those who want to start mountaineering next year. In our mountain climbing classes for beginners, we will teach you various things related to mountain climbing, such as how to climb and descend without getting tired, how to walk without slipping, how to use and select equipment such as poles, etc. tailored to each customer. Beginners and veterans who want to learn from the basics are welcome to join this course. ~Flow of the experience~ Meeting at Kokusai Kaikan Station (7:45) = Car/Bus = Convenience store = Shugakuin... Mt. Mt. Hiei Cable... Ohiei... Enryakuji Temple... Piston... Shugakuin Or Kitashirakawa...Parking lot = Kokusai Kaikan Station (scheduled to return from 5:00pm to 6:00pm) [Walking time: 5 hours and 30 minutes] *Depending on the time, the course may take you down to Kyoto Yase by cable.

“Mountain Support Yamaya” is a small group mountain climbing tour that will enter its 19th year in 2024.

There are two types of hiking: "Yamaya", which is for members only, and "Yamaya Club", which is for non-members. Of these, the non-member Yamaya Club, which anyone can join, will undergo major changes in 2024. Starting in 2024, we will be holding a ``Mountain Climbing Class for Beginners'' and planning many mountain trips for those who want to start mountain climbing. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, why not enjoy the many mountain climbing plans offered by Yamaya Club? Please participate no matter what. Dress code - Must bring items Haruyama general day trip equipment *Mountain Support Yamaya will send the itinerary and equipment list to customers who have applied as soon as the trip is decided (or around one week in advance for a day trip, or around two weeks in advance for an overnight stay). Matters require attention *Please be sure to read the terms and conditions before applying. <Regulations for non-membership [Yamaya Club]> is the applicable section. *In principle, the minimum number of participants is 2 people. <Confirmation items at the time of payment> - The amount to be paid differs depending on whether you wish to conduct a tour with just one person or if you wish to conduct a tour with two or more people. If you wish to conduct the tour with just one person, you will only be required to pay the guide fee for one person. The tour will be scheduled as soon as your reservation is completed. If you wish to conduct a tour for 2 or more people, you will only be required to pay the guide fee for 2 people. The event will be confirmed once the second person has applied after "Reservation Completed". If the second person does not arrive by the deadline, the hiking trip will be canceled and the deposit will be fully refunded. (In the case of accommodation, if there is a cancellation fee for the accommodation, etc., the refund will be deducted.) If the number of people applying increases to 3 or more, it will be converted to a 3-person rate. We will refund the amount you paid. (If the day is approaching, payment will be made on the spot on the day.) *Transportation fees, other expenses, and accommodation fees if staying overnight will be divided equally among the customers and paid on the day.
Other notifications [Other notes] ◎The guide always pays attention to the safety and comfortable climbing of the customers and provides appropriate guidance. Please follow all instructions in the mountains. Please be aware of group behavior and refrain from selfish words and actions. ◎During the mountain hike, if a member of the group is judged to be unable to continue mountaineering due to sudden physical illness or injury, the guide will move that person (hereinafter referred to as the injured person) to a safe location and maintain safety there. If so, continue hiking with other members from there. In that case, the injured person will have to wait in a mountain hut. If it is not possible to maintain safety or if there is a risk of injury, we may cancel the hike. In that case, any additional costs incurred will generally be borne by the customer. However, we will do our best to reimburse you for the expenses related to subsequent mountain trips to the extent possible. ◎If the progress of the mountain hike is seriously obstructed due to acts that violate public order and morals or selfish acts during the hike, the guide may unilaterally force you to leave the group. At that time, fees will not be refunded under any circumstances. In addition, if the guide or member suffers significant damage as a result of this, we may be required to make a claim for compensation. [About insurance] ◎All participants in the mountaineering trip are asked to purchase accident insurance as much as possible. (Optional) If you have already purchased insurance for a year or are planning to purchase insurance yourself, that is fine, but if you are planning to purchase insurance but do not know what kind of insurance to purchase, please follow the instructions below. We recommend accident insurance. <One-off type> We introduce the following domestic travel insurance. The contract will be signed online, so if you are happy with that, please sign the contract yourself. Prices start from 1,000 yen for up to 2 days and 1 night. Please see our website for details. <Annual type> Japan Mountaineering Association's mutual aid is now available to the general public. You have to become a member for 1,000 yen a year, but we recommend the ``climbing course'' as it is inexpensive and applies to all mountain trips (including those bringing crampons and an ice ax).
