Plan description

This mountain climbing plan is a trial course at Mountain Support Yamaya for those who want to start climbing mountains next year. In the mountain climbing class for beginners, we will teach you various things related to mountain climbing such as how to climb and descend without getting tired, how to walk without slipping, how to use and choose equipment such as poles, etc. according to each customer. Beginners and veterans who want to learn from the basics are welcome to join this course. Kohoku Takenagatake, located on the Takashima Trail, is famous for its many flowers and the beauty of the new green leaves of beech trees. This time, we will do a round trip from Mizusaka Pass. The green is beautiful in the new green season, and the colors of the trees are magnificent in the autumn leaves season. From the ridge on a clear day, you can see Ishida Dam below, the mountains of Kohoku, and Mt. Hakusan in the distance. ~Experience flow~ Kyoto (around 7:30) == Use bus and car = Mizusaka Pass...South ridge...Akaiwayama branch...Takenagatake...South ridge...Trailhead = Plan to take a hot spring bath = Each meeting place (around 19:30) Walking time: about 5 hours

“Mountain Support Yamaya” is a small group mountain climbing tour that will enter its 19th year in 2024.

There are two types of hiking: "Yamaya", which is for members only, and "Yamaya Club", which is for non-members. Of these, the non-member Yamaya Club, which anyone can join, will undergo major changes in 2024. Starting in 2024, we will be holding a ``Mountain Climbing Class for Beginners'' and planning many mountain trips for those who want to start mountain climbing. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, why not enjoy the many mountain climbing plans offered by Yamaya Club? Please participate no matter what. Let's enjoy mountain climbing while having fun conversations!

If you wish to conduct the tour with just one person, you will only be required to pay the guide fee for one person. The tour will be scheduled as soon as your reservation is completed. Other notifications [Other points to note] ◎The guide always pays attention to the safety and comfort of the customer and provides appropriate guidance. Please follow all instructions in the mountains. Please be aware that you are acting as a group and refrain from selfish words and actions. ◎If a member of the group suddenly becomes ill or injured during the climb and the guide determines that the climb is impossible, the guide will move that person (hereinafter referred to as the injured person) to a safe place and, if safety can be maintained there, continue the climb with the other members from there. In that case, the injured person will wait in a mountain hut or other location. If safety cannot be maintained there or if it is predicted that the injured person will be in a hurry, the climb itself may be canceled. In that case, the customer will basically be responsible for any additional expenses incurred. However, we will do our best to refund the expenses for subsequent climbs. ◎If the progress of the climb is significantly hindered during the climb due to actions that go against public order and morals or selfish actions, the guide may unilaterally force the group to leave. In that case, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. In addition, if the guide or members suffer significant damages as a result of this, we may file a claim for damages. [About insurance] ◎ We ask all participants in mountain climbing to take out personal injury insurance as much as possible. (Optional) If you already have annual insurance or are planning to take out insurance yourself, that's fine, but if you are planning to take out insurance and are not sure what kind of insurance to take out, we recommend the following personal injury insurance. <One-time type> We introduce the following domestic travel insurance. Since it is an online contract, please take out the contract yourself if you are okay with that. It is available from 1000 yen for 1 night and 2 days. Please see the website for details. <Annual type> The Japan Alpine Association's mutual aid has been opened to the public. You have to become a member for 1000 yen a year, but the "mountain climbing course" is inexpensive and applies to all mountain climbing (including mountain climbing with crampons and ice axes), so it is recommended. For details, please see the "Japan Alpine Association Mutual Aid Association" website. [Vehicle fuel costs and other expenses] Calculate the actual distance traveled x the amount, and divide that amount by the number of participants. The amount will vary depending on the fuel cost of the previous year, and will come into effect from April. Until 2021, the fee was a flat 30 yen, but due to rising fuel costs, the standard will be raised. However, the amount will vary depending on the number of people so that even single participants can easily participate. Thank you for your understanding. <Calculation standards for 2022 (to be continued in 2023)> For one participant: Distance traveled x 30 yen For two participants: Distance traveled x 40 yen For three participants: Distance traveled x 50 yen For four or more participants: Distance traveled x 60 yen
