This plan involves mangrove kayaking and trekking in the morning and afternoon. The guide will decide which activity will be in the morning and afternoon depending on which day's high tide occurs. We will take you into the mangrove forest at a time that allows you to go deeper into the mangroves. You will travel by car between the morning and afternoon activities. Since you won't be in the field all day, this combo tour is recommended for children who get bored easily and for those who need to use the restrooms frequently.

You will paddle a kayak through the mangrove waterways that are synonymous with Iriomote Island. The scenery of paddling through the mangrove arches while feeling the sunlight filtering through the trees is one of a kind on Iriomote Island. Guests staying in the west will generally be guided along the Urauchi River and Funaura Bay, while guests staying in the east or on a day trip from Ishigaki Island will generally be guided along the Nakama River.
