Plan description

Take a walk around the Shiretoko Goko Lakes in the cold winter season wearing snowshoes. After the park closes in autumn, the Shiretoko Goko Lakes are covered in snow. You can also take a walk in the winter on guided tours only. We will also show you areas where you can not walk on the lake or in summer. Let's see, hear, and feel the forest where they live from the traces of various wild animals such as brown bear's claw marks, Yezo deer's antlers, and footprints in the snow! ☆ Flow of the day (eg → 7:50 start course) ☆ Around 7:35 [Pick-up] We will pick you up from each hotel, etc. 15 minutes before the tour starts. (Local gathering is not possible) Around 7:50 [Move to Shiretoko Goko] With other groups, we will move to Shiretoko Goko through the road where only registered guide cars can enter. Around 8:50 [Strolling start] Start when you are ready, such as wearing snowshoes! Around 11:45 [Return to the parking lot] Take off your snowshoes and take a short break before dropping off. In winter, the roads along the Shiretoko Goko Lakes are closed, and only registered guide vehicles can enter.

With snowshoes, you can even go over the snow!

Wear the western kanjiki "snowshoes" prepared by Shinra on your own shoes and take a walk. If you're wearing snowshoes, you'll be fine even on the fresh, fluffy snow! You will feel like you are walking on clouds.
