You can spend an elegant time wearing high-quality authentic Oshima Tsumugi of the "Tokiemon" brand. Please leave pleasant memories while taking a walk in the garden and inside the building.

"Authentic Oshima Tsumugi" is designated as a traditional craft of Kagoshima and Amami. At Amami no Sato, you can wear the magnificent authentic Oshima Tsumugi of the "Tokiemon" brand.

"Amami no Sato" where the same time as Amami Oshima flows

"Amami no Sato" is filled with tropical plants and brightly colored flowers. In the garden that shows the expressions of the four seasons, you can enjoy walking around the Amami-style garden that reproduces the forest of Amami Oshima, and Yumi's Japanese garden scenery. It is a facility where you can feel the atmosphere and culture of Amami, such as a workshop where you can see the detailed and colorful Oshima Tsumugi manufacturing process and an Oshima Tsumugi Museum. After dressing up, take a walk freely and have a good time. *Movement in kimono is limited to Amami no Sato premises.
