マングローブ林に囲まれた、流れがあるのか？と思うほどの川を、ゆったりと気ままにカヌーで進み（西表の空・山・川・海・緑の中で非日常のカヌーに乗っている、それだけでも特別感満載、幸せです）、歩き始め直後に遭遇する奥入瀬渓流を想起させる南国の渓谷美、全てが初めて見る亜熱帯の植生や生き物（シオマネキ、トビハゼ等々。やすですら可愛く思えてきました。木の根で模様ができた大きな砂岩も）、そして最後に滝。滝壺から見上げる滝は迫力満点です。
そんな自然を満喫するツアーを最大限に充実させていただたいたガイドさん（栃木県出身の方です。西表は県外出身者が非常に多かったです）に感謝、感謝です。いろいろ説明していただいただけでなく、できるだけ他のツアーの方と重ならないように、滝壺には上着を脱いでライフジャケットだけで泳いだ方が帰りに乾いた服を着ていられるとアドバイスしてくれたり等々、いろいろ細やかな気配りをしていただきました。

今回初めて友だち夫婦との参加で、滝上での八重山そばを楽しみに申し込みました(笑)
4人中３人は運動不足でツアー完遂に不安もありましたが、次の日には筋肉痛にはなるもののアウトドア初心者の私たちでも無理なく参加できました。
カヌーは静かなマングローブの中、パドルで漕ぐ水の音がとても心地良く、日常から離れてストレスフリーな時間を過ごせました。
楽しみにしていた滝上での八重山そばも格別でした！
ガイドの方も島のことや自然のこと、興味深いお話をたくさんいただき飽きることなくあっという間の時間でした。
主人も今回の旅での1番楽しいイベントだったと、帰宅後も写真を見ながら話しています。

このツアーは西表島に初めて訪れた方には最初に参加していただきたいツアーです。カヌーだけでなく、トレッキングも楽しめ、アウドドアでのランチなどなど楽しめる要素ばかりです。とは言え、天気にも影響されるツアーですので毎日、同じようにツアーが開催できないツラさもありますが、これからも安全第一でツアーを開催し続けたいと思います。

日本一のマングローブ林の西表島。ヒナイ川でのカヌー体験。川面も、マングローブ林もとても静かで神秘的。気持ちを落ち着かてくれた。トレッキングでは初の沢靴を履き、植生がまるでジャングルではと思える体験を楽しんだ。ガイドの立川さんの詳細な説明に西表島の知識も得られ、滝上では、ザックに背負った昼食の八重山蕎麦を頂いた。とても貴重な思い出にに感謝だった。
足を洗う為のペットボトルの水、履き替え用のサンダル等、細かい心使いに忘れられない思い出を頂きました。有難うございました～。又、機会が有ればと願っています。

Since moving to Iriomote Island, I have worked in various jobs. Thanks to that, I have many friends and acquaintances on the island. My hobby is fishing. I fish when I have a day off, before going to work, and after work. I love all living creatures, so I walk through the jungle with excitement during tours. I may seem a bit reserved, but please feel free to talk to me about anything.
I did an internship at a windmill during my vocational school days, and after graduating I got a job there. I'm the young hope of the windmill. I have a bright smile and I keep smiling no matter how hot the jungle is or how rainy it is. I'll also take photos during the tour.
