I'm addicted to renting kimonos... I'm aiming to go on a kimono pilgrimage all over Japan! I went for a stroll in a kimono in the ancient capital of Kanazawa!

What impressed me when I arrived at the store was the wide variety of kimonos! Usagi-chan and I had so much fun looking at the rows of colorful kimonos! As expected from the city of Kaga Yuzen! There are beautiful old-fashioned patterns and Taisho Romantic designs that you won't see in kimono rental stores in the city, which is exciting! When I rented a kimono in Kamakura before, I was able to choose the kimono on a tablet, but seeing the real thing lined up in a row really got me excited! Professional staff will help you choose the obi and accessories, so you don't have to worry. Of course, the set price includes everything you need, such as tabi socks, sandals, and bags. On the day, you can just go with just the clothes you're wearing.

Kamakura is an hour away from Tokyo! If you want to visit beautiful scenery, you should also look beautiful yourself! I tried out "Kimono Rental"!

The kimono rental shop is easily accessible from the station, about a 5-minute walk away. The receptionist was also nice. There was a notice saying "If you don't arrive at the reserved time, you may not be able to experience it...", so I was a little worried that it would be really crowded and I would be kept waiting for a long time with "Please wait a moment". However, there was no booking at the same time as other customers, so it went smoothly.

My daughter wanted to go to Nikko. We are considering the trendy "kimono rental." As a parent, I'm curious about this!

We went to Nikko at the request of our daughter. We are considering the trendy "kimono rental". As a parent, I'm interested in this! "Kimono rental" has already become a category of experience and appears at the top of the site. Competing stores around the country are offering a variety of services, such as couple plans, discounts, and photo shoots in studios. It's hard to believe that the set price is more affordable than getting a yukata dressed at a beauty salon. For a young person who is not used to wearing Japanese clothing, this price is a great deal for the experience of having a professional dress you in a kimono that will not fall apart even if you walk around all day.

Where can I experience Kyudo in Tokyo? I want to experience traditional Japanese culture by renting all the equipment!

Where can I experience Kyudo in Tokyo? I'd like to experience traditional Japanese culture by renting a full set of equipment! When I looked up Kyudo facilities in Tokyo, I found that there are many, such as the Tokyo Budokan, Meguro Ward Central Gymnasium, and Komazawa Olympic Park General Athletic Field. However, it seems that only experienced or ranked people can use them, or only those who have joined as members can use them, and there are various conditions. Please note that Kyudo classes and trial events for the general public are held only a few times a year and the application acceptance period is limited. The atmosphere seems to vary greatly depending on the facility, so if it's your first time, it's probably best to take a look around first. Advance reservations are required for tours as well.

Experience copying sutras and goma rituals at Daisho-in Temple, the oldest temple in Miyajima, Hiroshima! How to enjoy sightseeing in Hiroshima!

Experience copying sutras and goma rituals at Daisho-in Temple, the oldest temple on Miyajima, Hiroshima! A way to enjoy sightseeing in Hiroshima! All you have to do is trace the Heart Sutra, so it may seem like a mechanical task, but I think this is also a matter of mindset. If you keep writing while feeling like you are feeling the teachings of Buddhism, something may open up. I originally studied calligraphy, so I quite like writing characters with a brush. Recently, I've been doing digital calligraphy on my iPad, but this is also a matter of mindset. There is a sense of satisfaction when you concentrate and write down your annual goals or prayers for good health. It's fun even digitally, but I think it feels really good when you add a wonderful place and the smell of ink to it.

Highly recommended: Kimono rental! Your memories of sightseeing in Kyoto will be upgraded! You might even get photographed by foreigners because of the kimono!

Highly recommended kimono rental! Your memories of sightseeing in Kyoto will be upgraded! You might even get photographed by foreigners because of the kimono! Actually, my wife tried the "Furisode Rental Experience" when she was single and went sightseeing in Asakusa with a female friend. "I was surprised to be surrounded by foreign tourists who said 'Beautiful!' and took photos of me, even though I was only around 10 people. That extraordinary power of fawning will make your skin glow better than going to a beauty salon! So I went back with my friend and tried it again!" It seems like she had a lot of fun.

Making soy milk → making okara → making yuba...I'm interested in the tofu-making experience in Kyoto!

Making soy milk → making okara → making yuba...I'm interested in the tofu-making experience in Kyoto! It's a dream collaboration for me to be able to experience making tofu in my favorite city of Kyoto. It seems that yudofu originated from the vegetarian cuisine on the approach to Nanzenji Temple in Kyoto. I once went to Nanzenji Temple in midsummer, and it was so hot that I felt like I was on the verge of heatstroke. I was walking around staggering around drinking about 3 liters of Pocari Sweat, and I saw a sign for "yudofu" and strongly thought, "I definitely don't need this." No, it was because it was summer. It was so hot that the sign was swaying with heat haze. If it were winter, I would have eaten it. By the way, the Sanmon Gate of Nanzenji Temple is one of my favorite places, and I once spent about two hours there without realizing it. When you look at the plan, it's written very simply, which is interesting.

Try out a Kyoto sweets-making class! Rediscover Japanese traditions that can be introduced to foreigners!

This is a wonderful plan where you can learn how to make traditional Japanese sweets (jo-namagashi) from a real craftsman at a long-established Japanese sweets shop in Kyoto City, and you can sample them on the spot and take them home. The jyo-namagashi are beautiful in color and shape. The designs evoke the Japanese seasons, and even though my daughter exclaimed "So pretty!" at the local Japanese sweets shop, they are a bit pricey for everyday snacks. However, if you consider that you can experience making them at your travel destination, enjoy them with matcha tea at the long-established shop, or take them home as souvenirs (you can make up to four kinds!), the price (2,160 yen including tax) is quite reasonable. The shop also provides all the ingredients (dough) and tools (spatulas), making it a hassle-free course.
