Take the Yamabiko Express bus directly from the center of Kumamoto to Aso! This plan takes you to Kusasenri, a spectacular spot you definitely want to visit if you're visiting Aso, and the world's largest caldera, the Aso Nakadake Crater. This is a packed course that visits the Oe Sakitsu Church, a symbol of Amakusa's Christian culture, which is a component asset (Sakitsu Village in Amakusa) of the World Cultural Heritage "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region", and three museums that convey the history of Christianity to the present. (The number of stops at the Amakusa Christian Museum varies depending on the boarding time.) The Miyajidake Scarecrow Village Roadside Station on the course is a roadside station that reused the abandoned Miyajidake Elementary School, and is the first of its kind in western Japan! This is a horseback riding experience on the majestic grasslands of Aso, where you can see the five peaks of Mt. Aso, the Kuju Mountain Range, and the Sobokan mountain range. With a circumference of 4km and a 360-degree panorama as your stage, you can enjoy the comfort of horseback riding and the sense of unity that you can't get when leading a horse. You will go up a hill and pass along the Yamanami Highway. You will continue on while taking in the magnificent views of the Kuju Mountain Range. Try waving to the cars passing by!
