Green season Lake Aoki/Lake Nakatsuna smelt boat fishing, tempura and day camp includes a tempura set rental, so it is a recommended plan for those who want to enjoy smelt fishing and tempura casually! The opening of the winter smelt hole fishing at Lake Nakatsuna depends on the weather and smelt resources. It was not opened in 2024 and 2023. It was opened in 2022, but not in 2021. This area is a cold region with a lot of snow. When there is a lot of snow, the snow acts as a cold protection and true ice does not form. Snow and ice form, but they cannot support the weight of a human. The hours for hole fishing at Lake Nakatsuna are 7:00-16:00 (2025 is undecided). We accept hole fishing by request reservation from February 5th to February 16th, 2025, but please note that hole fishing may not be possible. Many people are surprised that general snowshoe tours are more physically taxing than they expected, so we thought, "Can we have a more casual and easy way to experience a snowy forest?" From that point of view, we developed a plan that does not involve climbing, is not physically taxing, feels like a walk, and is a short plan to "experience a real snowy forest" (I know that sounds a bit exaggerated, lol). The time is quite leisurely and can be completed within 1.5 hours (adults who walk fast can finish in about an hour). Although it is a walk-like time and distance, you will experience a real and authentic forest. You can enjoy a short time of trekking in a real forest while taking photos. *Please note* Since you will be walking in snow, please wear shoes that can walk in snow. (You cannot walk in the snow in normal shoes) I think that wearing rain boots with your ski wear will be the easiest way to move around (please refer to the photos of the participants). Rain boots that do not make your toes cold (you can wear them as they are, but it will be more comfortable if you put in warm insoles, even simple ones sold at 100 yen stores.
