This is a sumo experience activity.​ ​ It will be conducted at a Machiya house built more than 100 years ago near Kiyomizu Temple. The activity is called "Shall We Sumo?".​ ​ We will give you some explanation about a history of Sumo. Then you can experience doing shiko moves like real sumo wrestlers.​ ​ After the training, let's cook a chanko hotpot which is commonly and traditionally prepared at sumo stables and eaten together.​ ​ 【Gochandesu!】​ ​

Whether you are a first-time visitor or a repeat visitor, we offer you an amazing experience in Kyoto♪​ ​​ ​​ ​ ​ ​First, our guide will meet you at your hotel or at Kyoto station. ​ ​On this day-tour you will visit Kyoto's main temples and shrines and enjoy its beautiful scenery. ​ ​We will walk through the temple grounds towards a secluded waterfall which is a National Historical Site. Here people have practiced ‘Misogi’, a Japanese Shinto practice of ritual purification, for over 800 years. We then head to a famous 1,300 year-old temple that shines in vermilion.​ ​ We will meet the guardians at the gate and will enter a dark, underground passage to cut our ties to fears we have and offer prayer. Once we enter the main hall, you will ring bell to alert the gods you are there and offer prayer. We will walk the grounds and view Kyoto from the mountain. Great spot to take pictures and share them on SNS. Then we will head on to the famous Geisha Gion District. Here you will have time to explore Yasui Shrine, Yasaka Shrine and Shijo Street which is filled with hundreds of shops.​ ​ We will end our tour by having a little sake.
