This is the only place where you can make your own ramen noodles.
Ramen Factory is the only restaurant in Kyoto where you can cook ramen by yourself.

Through this experience you will learn to make ramen from scratch.
We will provide guide books on every table, so you only need to follow the instructions to make a delicious ramen.
We also have instructors here if you need any help.
This class has souvenirs and please choose what you want which are Homaekake (Japanese Apron), T-shirt or Ramen bowl.
Please also use at home.
*Apron is only provided in adult size.
Tofukuji station is only one stop away from Kyoto station and Fushiminari station.
Besides, it can be easily reached by bus without any transfers from Gion and other popular sightseeing spots.

Other notifications | We can arrange ramen experience for muslims and vegans About ingredients In order to expand Japanese ramen culture across the world we use non-pork, non-alcohol ingredients. To avoid any incidents we never use or allow to bring in ingredients except halal-food. All ingredients do not contain any pork or alcohol. A prayer room For prayers we offer a Japanese style tatami room. There is an arrow pointing qibla in the room. Although this is a mixed gender room, there is a room divider you may use if necessary. We also have a space for wudhu. Feel free to use it as it is separated for men and women. For non-muslims it can be used as a meditation room. |

Tour steps ① Meeting / changing clothes (attaching an apron and bandana): 5 minutes ② Ramen making: 40 minutes ③ Actual meal: 15 minutes
Making noodles Knead the wheat and punch as much as you want! Spread the dough thinly. Cut the dough into small pieces to make noodles.
Roasted chicken fillet Wrap the chicken in a circle with a thread to make a shape. Put the seasoning in a pan and simmer the chicken. Cut it to the desired thickness and bake it with a burner to give it a scent.
Soup making We offer "chicken soup" and "seafood soup". Blend in the desired proportions. We offer "sauce" of miso, soy sauce, and salt. You can use just one, mix it, or whatever you like!
Drain the Noodles Boil the noodles in a special kettle. Drain the hot water vigorously.
Finish Put the boiled noodles in the soup. Add your favorite toppings and it's done!
