Let's search for and catch underwater creatures that you can't usually see in the river near the popular ballpark, S-Con Field! The Watatsu River is a first-class river with a length of 14.2 kilometers that originates in Kamiwatatsu, Kitahiroshima City, and flows into the Chitose River. The town of Kitahiroshima began in 1884 when 25 households and 103 people who moved from Hiroshima Prefecture settled along this river. If you rummage through the bushes with a dip net, you will see various aquatic creatures. The river is just under 15 kilometers long, but you will be interested in the diverse creatures. Depending on the season, there will be guides from students studying aquatic life at a vocational school, so you can ask them about various things. You can learn about the rich water environment of Kitahiroshima and the Ishikari region, and our water activities can be used as a project for elementary school students' independent research or as a way to enjoy playing safely near the water.

Otaru Blue Cave Attraction Cruise on a high-speed boat! This great value plan includes the same Blue Cave cruise as during the day, plus a sunset cruise if the weather is clear. During the summer, the light is strong, so the cave remains a beautiful blue even after 6pm!! All photos shown are from the evening tour, with no editing required. The overall brightness changes on the way there and back, and you can even see the sunset, so there are plenty of photo opportunities. There are only a few companies that offer sunset tours, so this is recommended for those with ample time. ★Around 2pm on July 17th, a portion of the top of the Blue Cave entrance collapsed. Until safety is confirmed, we have changed the itinerary so that you will not be allowed inside the cave, but will instead view the cave from outside.

[Chitose River Cruise] It's about a 20-minute drive from New Chitose Airport, and you'll be surprised to see such a rich natural environment in such a place... You'll go down the Chitose River with a guide, watching the fish swimming under the clear water and the small birds flying through the trees. We'll talk about a lot of things, such as Hokkaido's wildlife and vegetation, Ainu culture, and the history of development, while enjoying the breeze of nature! [Standard course] The journey is about 5.5 kilometers from the meeting point, Daiichi Usakumai Bridge, to under the highway overpass. The nature-rich Chitose River is home to wild birds such as kingfishers, crested kingfishers, and the recently popular long-tailed tit. Kingfishers sometimes even guide you... You can experience the thrill of a natural river, going over waves and passing through a tunnel of trees that protrude into the river! [Chitose River Cruise] About 20 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, the Chitose River makes you think that such a rich nature spreads out in such a place. [Long Course] Canoe touring of about 8 kilometers from the meeting point, First Usakumai Bridge, to the vicinity of Chitose City Sports Center! As of 2024, Lake Shikotsu boasts the second highest transparency in Japan, and the Chitose River that flows from it. Enjoy the pleasure of river rafting, including gentle sections, narrow sections, and small but wavy sections! The guide will be in charge of the main maneuvering such as choosing the course and steering, so even those without experience are welcome!

This half-day experience, available only with same-day reservations, focuses on fishing while the guide uses his or her favorite fishing techniques. Sometimes the guide's time opens up unexpectedly, and the guide often enjoys the opportunity to scout locations and have fun with the fish. We'll cover the basics of fishing equipment, using tools that everyone knows and can find at 100-yen shops. Once you know the equipment, you can get it yourself.
