It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. Shiretoko is a treasure trove of wildlife. On this tour, you will travel by car into the national park at night, and after a lecture, you will search for wildlife while riding in the car. The excitement of spotting the glowing eyes of an animal hiding in the darkness at the end of your light will surely become an irreplaceable memory. Enjoy the rich nature of Shiretoko through this tour, which has the highest rate of wildlife encounters of any of our tours. *There will be no walking tours.

Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes and view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are protected species of birds. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact you via your mobile device and, depending on your preference, we will cancel the tour or reschedule the tour after the weather improves.

An experience you can only have here! Put on a dry suit and walk on the drift ice! Drift ice comes ashore on the coast of Okhotsk from late January. At its peak, the coast of Utoro is covered with pure white drift ice, creating a scene that you won't find anywhere else in Japan. Wear a special dry suit and walk on and touch the drift ice. Deep in the forest of Shiretoko, you will get lost if you don't take a guided tour. We will walk in the primeval forest that is typical of Shiretoko on snowshoes. In the silent forest covered in snow, you will encounter various wild animal tracks, rustling sounds of animals moving, and other things that you can only encounter at this time of year.
