It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. You will walk through natural forests and see waterfalls and giant icicles flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, and depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are designated as natural monuments. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact your mobile device and, depending on your preference, we will cancel the tour or reschedule the tour after the weather has improved.

Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes and view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are protected species of birds. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact you via your mobile device and, depending on your preference, we will cancel the tour or reschedule the tour after the weather improves.

While driving along the coastline, we will search for the natural monuments, the White-tailed Eagle and the Steller's sea eagle. If you find them, you can observe them with a 25x field scope and binoculars and take photos freely. There is a high probability that you will also see Ezo deer and wild birds. To prevent infection, all tours are conducted outdoors. If you are traveling by car, you will follow the guide's car in a rental car or similar vehicle, and observations will be conducted outdoors. In rare cases, roads may be closed due to storms or other reasons. If we find out about a closure in advance, we will contact you by mobile phone to cancel (or postpone if you wish).

We will observe red-crowned cranes at feeding stations in Tsurui Village. In addition, we will introduce you to Tsurui Village and other wonderful winter scenery tailored to your time. An experience you can only have here! Put on a dry suit and walk on the drift ice! Drift ice comes ashore on the coast of Okhotsk from late January. At its peak, the coast of Utoro is covered with pure white drift ice, creating a scene that you won't find anywhere else in Japan. Wear a special dry suit and walk on and touch the drift ice. Take a walk through the Utasai beech forest, which is designated as a national natural monument, with a nature guide. Take a walk with your guide to the national natural monument "Utasaibunabayashi" that has survived the two logging crises. In spring, take a walk while watching the pretty spring ephemeral flowers and the young shoots of fresh green beech. In summer, you can feel the natural energy in the dark green. In autumn, you can meet the golden beech forest.
