We will tour Akihabara's hidden TGC shops, hobby and game shops that can only be found in Japanese and cannot be searched on Google Maps in English. Since the staff at Japanese TGC shops, hobby and game shops cannot speak English, I will be in charge of giving advice and translating. Each TGC shop has its own characteristics, such as shops with many old cards, shops with many rare and expensive cards, and shops with many goods, so if you tell us what kind of shop you want to go to, we can arrange a tour for you. Let's go on a journey to experience Japan's TGC shops together, with stress-free communication.

In a small conference room, you will experience the basic techniques of calligraphy under the guidance of an instructor. You will finish by creating 1-2 pieces of work that you can display at home. After the calligraphy experience, you will walk around Oyama Shopping Street, which is 1.2 km long and has over 300 shops and restaurants, and have lunch. Transfer to the train and bus to the Akatsuka area. You will visit the Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Waterfall, Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Itabashi Museum of Art, Akatsuka Castle Ruins, and Itabashi Local Museum.
This was probably the best workshop we attended during our Japan trip! Very good Calligraphy explanations, the instructor is highly professional, and really takes time to demonstrate in great detail! So the Calligraphy class in itself it was already an amazing experience. However, afterwards you go to see the Tokyo Great Buddha (and museums & gardens) and can experience Japanese culture with interesting conversations and information about the surrounding area. Both instructors are very kind, very passionate and just pleasant people in general :)

Let's explore the history of Shimabara, which is deeper the more we know about it. In fact, Shimabara is a common name, and the original place name is Nishishin-yashiki, and the name Shimabara comes from the Shimabara Rebellion in Kyushu. A walk around the town of Shimabara, the past and present. The history of the red-light district and prostitutes is by no means shallow, and there are customs (traces) that continue to this day. Through the history of Shimabara, you can even get a glimpse of Japanese history. All of the courses you will follow are spots related to Shimabara. This time, we will explore Shimabara, which has never ceased to attract men from all over the world, from a historical perspective! Shimabara Red Light District is a hidden spot in Kyoto that is open even on weekends! The reason it is a hidden spot is that even if you walk around alone with tourists, there are few historical explanations and it is difficult to understand the highlights. If you join my plan, I will explain the highlights of Shimabara, so your understanding will be greatly improved. [Course Contents] ① Remains of Suzaku-oji Right next to Shimabara was Suzaku-oji, the main street of the Heian period. The road is 84 meters wide, so you can imagine how wide it was. ② Remains of the Kaburenjo The Kaburenjo, where the prostitutes practiced, was demolished with the decline of Shimabara, but the sacred tree and photos from that time are on display. ③ Shimabara Daiginkyou Benzaiten Shrine The sacred tree of Shimabara Sumiyoshi Shrine was located within the shrine grounds, but it is now located in a different place due to the influence of the anti-Buddhist movement during the Meiji Restoration. ④ Shimabara Sumiyoshi Shrine It is known as a matchmaking shrine by locals. ⑤ Shimabara Nishimon Monument The red-light district only has one gate, but Shimabara has two. There was originally only one, but there was a reason why Shimabara needed two gates to prosper. ⑥ Remains of Higashi Korokan There was originally a guest house called Higashi Korokan in the Shimabara area of the entertainment district. ⑦ Kadoya Hospitality Culture Museum (exterior only) Kadoya, famous for the Shinsengumi. It is what we would call a high-class restaurant today. ⑧Wagaya This is the only brothel still in operation in Shimabara. ⑨Shimabara Daimon Ryoma Sakamoto and the Shinsengumi actually passed through Shimabara Daimon when they came to Shimabara. This is a place where you can feel the history deeply. If you would like to participate on a day other than the event or if you would like to apply as a group, please contact us. This is a tour that allows you to get a feel for Yokohama and make it a memorable trip, rather than visiting each famous spot quickly. At the time of Perry's arrival, Yokohama was a small, semi-fishing, semi-farming town of 100 households, but it has developed as a gateway to foreign countries and is now the largest city in Japan. The Minato Mirai area continues to evolve as a tourist destination, including the Red Brick Warehouse, Zou-no-hana Park, Hammerhead, and Air Cabin. As for food, there are many products that originated in Yokohama, such as bread, gyu-nabe, ice cream, and Neapolitan, and there are many shops that have been in business for over 100 years. Above all, the world's largest Chinatown highlights Yokohama's unique character. Yamashita Park, Nihon Odori, and Minato Mirai have also become filming locations for TV and movies. Therefore, people of all generations feel some kind of familiarity with Yokohama.

We will visit the locations where TV dramas were filmed. Enjoy the scenery and gourmet food of Yokohama! When walking around Yokohama, you often come across scenery that makes you want to take a photo. Even though I have lived in Yokohama for 30 years, I still feel that way. Not only does the scenery change with the seasons, but the scenery under the clear blue sky throughout the day, and the sunset scenery that changes from yellow to orange to deep blue. New buildings are being built one after another, while buildings reminiscent of the Meiji era remain. Yokohama has many spots that are perfect as backgrounds for dramas and movies with various themes. Visit the locations of recent TV dramas to feel closer to the dramas. It is also fun to imagine what scenery you would use as the background for a drama. And since it is the place where bread and ice cream were first introduced to Japan, and the city where tonkatsu, Neapolitan, and pudding a la mode were invented, I would like to enjoy the flavors that have been passed down. You can also enjoy eating your way around one of the world's largest Chinatowns, so please enjoy the wonderfulness of Yokohama not only with your eyes but also with your tongue. We will visit the filming locations, but have lunch at a popular restaurant to provide you with the best tour possible.

A private trekking tour with a guide around the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a lesser-known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. This is a special tour that allows you to enjoy the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a unique mountain where the remains of the stone-cutting industry that supported the region and the Buddhist world of Nihon-ji Temple are back to back, all in one day! We start by walking through the streets of Kanaya, which flourished as a stone-cutting industry from the Edo period to the Showa period, and then head to the Nokogiriyama Ropeway Station. After entering the grounds of Nihon-ji Temple and worshiping the "Hyakushaku Kannon," we trace the scenery and history of the remains of the quarry, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry and now stands like an ancient ruin. After that, we proceed while listening to the guide's explanations about the sights such as the famous photo spots "Peeking into Hell" and "1,500 Arhats," and the tallest "Great Buddha" in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), and finally descend the mountain by ropeway and disband. *There will be a lunch break along the way.
There is much to enjoy: natural landscapes, human interaction with the environment, religious customs, flora and fauna, history, and much more. Interesting anecdotes and views as well as a few scary moments and many photo opportunities are part of the enjoyment factor. The guide's English was fine and she was knowledgeable enough about each topic to keep the participants interested. She was attentive to my needs and accommodating to my humor.

Nokogiriyama is known as a lesser known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. With its jagged ridgeline resembling the teeth of a saw, and the remains of the quarry where Boso stone was quarried by the stone-cutting industry until the Showa era, it looks like an abandoned building, and this otherworldly space that appears in the middle of nature has become popular. On this tour, you will pass through the streets of Kanaya, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry, and climb the "Sharikko Road," a road that once transported quarried stone, with a guide. While enjoying the climb, which is low above sea level but has a large elevation difference, you will feel the breath of the craftsmen of the time, and trace the history of how Boso stone supported Japan's modernization and declined over time.

Once inside the Nippon-ji Temple grounds, you can enjoy the mystical atmosphere of the tallest Buddha statue in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), as well as the 1,500 arhat statues arranged on the mountainside.
