I, who have lived in Shima Onsen for over 40 years, will guide you through this hot spring town. -A retro hot spring town that still retains the atmosphere of the 1960s-Learn about the history and hot spring culture of Shima Onsen-Meet and chat with the locals-If you're lucky, you might even encounter wild animals such as Japanese serows and Japanese macaques-And try Japanese sweets, cakes, and other desserts (at least two places) that are made and sold in Shima Onsen.

Assembly point

Only guests staying at Shima Terrace Mae Shima Onsen Kashiwaya Ryokan will be taken to the meeting point by hotel staff.

If you arrive by car

50 minutes from Shibukawa Ikaho IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway. Parking: 84 cars, Large buses: Not allowed. Parking is the number of spaces in the free public parking lot.

If you arrive by train

From JR Agatsuma Line "Nakanojo Station" take the bus bound for Shima Onsen for about 30 minutes and get off at "Kiri no Kihira" bus stop
