When the bellows is closed, it resembles a closed book, and the obi is decorated with a mizuhiki knot. You will create a one-of-a-kind origami lamp piece in the world. Lastly, we will serve Japanese sweets along with "Japanese paper tea" that is not available anywhere else! Once you know the meaning of the knot, it's the perfect gift. Washi paper is lightweight and durable, making it ideal for artwork and interior decoration. Learn about traditional Japanese crafts and their techniques, and create your own original work.

Using the traditional craft "Ise Katagami", which has been passed down in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture for over 1000 years, the cloth is stencil-dyed. "Ise Katagami" is made by a craftsman called a stencil carver who carves intricate patterns and designs on durable Japanese paper with a carving knife. It is surprising that more than 900 patterns are carved into a one-inch square (about 3 cm) with fine details. Try it out and experience its delicacy and beauty. You can choose the cloth to be dyed from handkerchiefs, tea mats, and coasters.

I had a wonderful time with two lovely, patient teachers guiding me through making a heart shaped bracelet. Despite our language barrier (Google translate for the win!) we still managed to have a laugh and make a beautiful bracelet. Highly recommend this experience, it was a perfect activity for a cold day.

The kaleidoscope was invented by a Scottish optician, and was a toy that had already been imported to Japan during the Edo period. Taking advantage of the prism of light, the topping of small beads originally packed inside creates a world you've never seen before. You can really see the ``flowers'' blooming. You won't be able to take your eyes off it♪
