Experience indigo dyeing T-shirts or tote bags using indigo in Hozu, Kameoka, Kyoto. Create your own original indigo dyed T-shirt or tote bag! ●What kind of company is Kyoto Hozu Indigo Studio? Founded in 1997. Kyoto Hozu Indigo Studio Co., Ltd., a Kyoto indigo dyeing and Ryukyu indigo dyeing studio in Kameoka, Kyoto, is a studio that revived the legendary Kyoto indigo "Kyoto indigo" in 2015 and branded it as "Kyoho indigo". We aim to revitalize the region through product development, sales, and experiential learning using indigo. While providing many Ryukyu indigo dyes to major fashion brands, we also create various specialty products of Hozu, Kameoka using Kyoindigo/Kyoho indigo. ●Recommended points for the indigo dyeing experience at Kyoto Hozu Indigo Studio! ★Point 1: There is a high degree of freedom in design, so you can create truly original works rather than starting from a fixed design. ★Point: This workshop is easy for beginners to participate in and feel at ease, as craftsmen who have been holding indigo dyeing experiences for over 1,200 people over the past two years will carefully explain how to dye. ★Point 3: There are a wide variety of experience materials, and you can change materials after entering the workshop. This is a summer vacation limited children's weaving experience / free study plan. It is a plan of about 2 hours to make your own weft thread, weave a 10 cm square woven fabric, and tour the workshop. You can take the completed work home on the day. The target is from elementary school students to college students. It is the only textile in the world. You can see, touch, and experience the world's best works of art in Japan. * Bonus: Take a photo on a restored high machine. Present an original postcard. Presenting materials related to traditional textiles. You can also shop. We have two weaving machines for you to experience weaving.
