Why not experience creating Japanese scents at Yurasukaori's atelier in Seijo, a quiet residential area? In this plan, we will create incense sticks using only fragrant agarwood, sandalwood, and other incense ingredients that are used in medicine and food, preserving the ancient scent. Incense sticks began to be made in Osaka around the early Edo period. Please use it in a variety of situations, such as when relaxing, when you want to change your mood, or by scenting it in your room before welcoming guests. Fragrance is said to transform everyday spaces into extraordinary ones. A Japanese scent that feels nostalgic, but also a new scent. You can enjoy it in various situations. Yurasu Kaori creates original scents using only natural fragrance ingredients that have been used since ancient times, without using synthetic fragrances. Also, turning an image into a scent is something you can't experience anywhere else. Please come and create your own scent. We have bags and boxes available for you to take home.

"Studio Seikan" is a facility with a workshop, shop and cafe, where you can visit the manufacturing site of Yamanaka lacquerware, experience woodturning, shop, and enjoy cafe and sweets with lacquerware. This course includes a workshop tour (with explanation) - making a vase - lacquerware experience at the cafe (one drink included). Lacquerware craftsmen work here every day. In this experience, you can observe them up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will explain it in an easy-to-understand way. Next, you will make your own original lacquered chopsticks at the place where the craftsmen actually work. Think about the design of the chopsticks and paint them with real lacquer. You can experience authentic lacquer painting. The lacquer craftsmen will teach you carefully, so you can make them yourself until they are completed. You will surely be satisfied. It's fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware at the cafe and taste sweets. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. Please feel free to ask the staff or craftsmen if you have any questions. Lacquer can cause a rash, but we check beforehand and use gloves to prevent it from coming into contact with the skin, so even small children can experience it.
