Kintsugi (gold repair) is a repair technique that uses lacquer to repair cracks, chips, and other damage to ceramics, and then decorates them with gold and other metal powders. It's also known as kintsukuroi (gold repair). Our salon uses simple lacquer instead of real lacquer, offering affordable repairs. Your treasured tableware can be revived through kintsugi and upgraded with gold. English recipes are also available. After kintsugi, your items will be suitable for carry-on use within two hours. They will be delivered in a protective container. The experience location is in the naturally rich Minoh City in Hokusetsu, Osaka. It's a five-minute train ride from the tourist destination of Minoh. Why not take a stroll empty-handed after sightseeing at the waterfalls and enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience? 20 minutes by train from central Osaka.
