[About Our Restaurant] Fujiya is a hands-on local cooking workshop where you can make and taste Yamanashi's local cuisine. Perfect for a break from sightseeing, with family or friends, come and create some special memories. [About Yamanashi's proud local dish, "hoto"] Hoto is a dish made by slowly simmering wide, thick noodles made from wheat flour with plenty of vegetables, such as pumpkin and root vegetables, in a miso-based broth. In 2007, it was selected as one of the "Top 100 Local Dishes of Rural Areas" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. As the saying goes, "Morning: rice cakes, lunch: barley rice, and dinner: pumpkin hoto," this proud local dish is deeply rooted in the lives of people in Yamanashi. It preserves the natural flavor of the ingredients and warms both body and soul. This is the appeal of "hoto," a dish that has long been loved by many. Recommended for: Those seeking a uniquely Yamanashi experience; Families looking for a fun food education experience with their children; Those seeking a safe experience suitable for beginner cooks; Planners of group trips, school trips, team building events, etc.; Those looking to capture tangible memories of their trip.
