Plan description

This is a tour of a Japanese sake brewery departing from Mt. Takao. Sake is becoming increasingly popular around the world, and Japan's traditional sake brewing method using rice koji has been registered as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Some of the sake breweries around Mt. Takao are open for tours, and a guide will accompany you during the tour to explain the production and process of sake brewing. You can also sample the sake after the tour. The tour is easy, as you will travel to the brewery in a car driven by the guide. Please join us before or after hiking Mt. Takao!
