Departing from Sapporo Station! This is a one-day mountain climbing tour to climb Mt. Asahidake, the main peak of the Daisetsu Mountain Range, which is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. You can take a ropeway from Asahidake Onsen at the foot of the mountain to the 5th station at an altitude of 1,600m, making it one of the most popular mountains in the Daisetsu Mountain Range. The view from the summit is outstanding! You can see the majestic Daisetsu Mountain Range. After descending, you can take a bath in a nearby hot spring. A professional guide will give you a lecture on mountain walking points and explain about flowers. It takes about 2.5 hours to climb. It takes 2 hours to descend. This tour is recommended for those who want to enjoy a leisurely hike in the great outdoors. It can be enjoyed from early summer to late autumn. Please note that each person must pay for the ropeway, lift fee, and bathing fee. *In the event of bad weather, the route may be changed to ensure safety. Thank you for your understanding. This guided tour can be given in English.
If you have foot problems, we can rent poles for free. If you would like to rent poles, please let us know when you register.
We will pick you up from Sapporo station for free. You can participate by public transportation. Pick-up and drop-off from accommodations around the station (1km radius) is also possible.
The tour is a small group and provides personalized support. The number of groups is up to 2 and the capacity is up to 5 people. As a measure against coronavirus, alcohol disinfectants and disposable masks are installed in the shuttle car.

Start from the tree line! Start from the 5th station by taking the ropeway. The starting point is already 1500m above sea level. You can enjoy the open view from the very start.

Time schedule
Mountain line contents ・After arriving at the foot of Mt. Asahidake, take the ropeway. (About 10 minutes) ・Start hiking at the trailhead. Take breaks and lectures at various points. (240 minutes) ・Arrive at the trailhead. Take a bath in a nearby hot spring, then we will take you to Sapporo Station. The tour will end at Sapporo Station around 19:30.

The trailhead is about 2.5 hours from central Sapporo. Parking is available (paid).
