This is a snowshoe hiking tour that climbs Mt. Asari Tengu in Otaru City, Hokkaido near Sapporo. A professional guide will give you various lectures on the key points of winter mountain hiking. It's fun just stepping on the fluffy powder snow! Would you like to take a hike through the quiet winter forest? This tour is recommended for those who want to try winter mountaineering or want to make their snowshoeing debut. A spectacular 360 degree panoramic view awaits you from the top of the mountain! After descending the mountain, you can stop by a nearby hot spring if you wish. This guided tour can be given in English.
Special equipment such as snowshoes and poles can be rented for free. In addition to the above, goggles, winter gloves, waterproof winter outerwear, and waterproof snow boots are available for rent, but for a fee. Please let us know at the time of application if you wish to rent for a fee. The rental fee below is for each item. Ski goggles (free size)/winter gloves: 500 yen Thermal/waterproof wear top and bottom set (S~LL size) 2000 yen Cold/waterproof shoes (21~29cm) 2000 yen
We will pick you up from Sapporo Station or Otaru Station for free. Pick-up from accommodation near the station is also available. In addition, the meeting and dissolution place will basically be the same point. If you meet in Otaru, it will be dissolved in Otaru.
The tour is a small group and provides personalized support. The number of groups is up to 2 and the capacity is up to 5 people. As a measure against coronavirus, alcohol disinfectants and disposable masks are installed in the shuttle car.

Time schedule
The whole process Reception at the meeting place. After completing the reception, move to the experience location 10:00 Arrive at the experience location. Preparation 10:15~14:00 Head to the summit with breaks and lectures throughout the experience period. (150 minutes) After taking a break at the summit, descend the same way you came. (90 minutes) 15:30 After completing the descent, disband at Sapporo Station or Otaru Station
