[Beginners and children welcome] [Experience time 2.5 hours] Verde's "Kayak" is a program for beginners that uses a stable two-seater sit-on type boat. Three people are also allowed if they are up to 130 cm tall. You can feel connected to nature by paddling near the calm water surface and in the jungle-like tributary. It is also perfect for playing in the river in the summer with small children. Perfect for outdoor beginners. Please spend a special time with your family, spouse, and dog.
Verde's field, Miyagawa River, has been chosen as the cleanest river in Japan many times. The still waters created by the dam are friendly to beginners and beginners of water activities, and it has become a popular field for SUP and kayak enthusiasts who want to enjoy the jungle cruises on the tributaries and the crystal clear waters of the upper reaches. Verde is the only guide service that offers outdoor activities on land on the Miyagawa River. We offer a quality time with guides who know every corner of the Miyagawa River inside and out.
We offer not only the beautiful fields, but also the fun of kayaking itself. Verde's guides are certified instructors of the Japan Safety Paddling Association (JSPA). The calm waters of the Miyagawa River are the perfect field to start paddle sports. Experiences and tours are a chance to learn paddling skills. We provide safe and fun lessons for those who want to start SUP, canoeing, and kayaking as a hobby.
Okuise is a mountain village that spreads along the clear Miyagawa River, which originates from the Odaigahara mountain range. It is located 150 minutes from Nagoya and Osaka. It has deep historical ties to the Kumano Kodo and Ise Shrine, and the entire region has been certified as a UNESCO Ecopark. The Verde outdoor program makes use of the rich natural environment of Okuise, including the Miyagawa River, the cleanest river in Japan, and Osugidani, one of Japan's three major canyons and a hidden area, and has people saying, "I didn't know nature was so close!"♪ ~Make your holiday special~

Your child's first time playing in water This is a program perfect for active families who want to have fun with their small children. ・You can experience the feeling of a jungle cruise on the tributary. ・Not only canoeing and kayaking, but also water play!
Women and couples Verde activities are very popular with female guests and couples. The beautiful scenery of Okuise and Miyagawa is a lifelong treasure that you will want to keep in photos and videos. Photos taken by the guide will be provided free of charge.
With your precious family dog This is a recommended program for those who want to play in the water with their dog. Please apply at the child's rate.
Time schedule
Outdoor base gathering The meeting place is next to the popular hamburger and donut shop "BOUQUET".
Reception and interview You will meet your guide at the base and check in. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have here.
Kayak lecture & short touring After the paddle training on land, we set off on a short tour. Many guests are delighted to hear that it's a "jungle cruise!"
Changing clothes, taking photos, and disbanding After getting out of the water, you will shower, change clothes, and then disband. Photos taken by the guide will be provided free of charge, so you can reminisce about your SUP memories.

Verde Outdoor Base is located next to the hamburger and donut shop "BOUQUET" at Momiji no Sato Park. After checking in at the meeting point, please move your car back to the parking lot.
