A safe SUP lesson plan for beginners♪ In our field, Okuise and Odaicho, there is the clear Miyagawa River that connects to Ise Grand Shrine. The beautiful Miyagawa River has been ranked as the cleanest river in Japan many times. Why not try stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) in the still waters of the Mitsugedani Dam on this Miyagawa River? Even beginners are welcome♪ After a brief explanation of the basic operations on land, the first ride is mostly in still waters where there are no waves. The lesson time is 2 hours. In the second half, enjoy the pleasant scenery from the surface of the Miyagawa River. SUP is perfect for children to play in the water, adults to enjoy the outdoors, and exercise! Small children can enjoy it with their parents.
Verde's SUP field, Miyagawa River, has been chosen as the cleanest river in Japan many times. The still waters created by the dam are friendly to beginners and beginners of water activities, and it has become a popular field for SUP and kayak enthusiasts who want to enjoy the jungle cruises on the tributaries and the crystal clear waters of the upper reaches. We offer not only the beautiful field but also the fun of SUP itself. Verde's guides are certified instructors of the Japan Safety Paddling Association (JSPA). The calm waters of the Miyagawa River are the perfect field to start SUP. Experiences and tours are a chance to learn paddling skills. We provide safe and fun lectures for those who want to start SUP as a hobby.
Okuise is a mountain village that spreads along the clear Miyagawa River, which originates from the Odaigahara mountain range. It is located 150 minutes from Nagoya and Osaka. It has deep historical ties to the Kumano Kodo and Ise Shrine, and the entire region has been certified as a UNESCO Ecopark. The Verde outdoor program makes use of the rich natural environment of Okuise, including the Miyagawa River, the cleanest river in Japan, and Osugidani, one of Japan's three major canyons and a hidden area, and has people saying, "I didn't know nature was so close!"♪ ~Make your holiday special~

Women and couples Verde activities have a lot of female guests. The beautiful scenery of Okuise and Miyagawa is a lifelong treasure that you will want to keep in photos and videos. Photos taken by the guide will be provided free of charge.
Three generations together... What made us so happy was that three generations could enjoy it together! This is what our guests said. The youngest child so far was 1 year and 6 months old. The oldest guest was 85 years old. We welcome any number of people who want to enjoy playing in the water. We also accept groups of more than 10 people. Time schedule
Outdoor base gathering The meeting place is next to the popular hamburger and donut shop "BOUQUET".
Reception and interview You will meet your guide at the base and check in. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have here.
SUP lecture After the lecture on land, we headed straight for the water. First, we learned the basics of SUP paddling.
Short touring We then set off on a short tour. Many guests have commented with delight, "I was surprised I could pedal so well for the first time!"
Changing clothes, taking photos, and disbanding After getting out of the water, you will shower, change clothes, and then disband. Photos taken by the guide will be provided free of charge, so you can reminisce about your SUP memories.
