It is about a 30-minute drive from Sapporo Station, and the trip takes about 3.5 hours from meeting at Sapporo Station to disbanding at Sapporo Station. The rental fee for fishing rods, reels, and other equipment needed for smelt fishing is included in the basic fee. Clothing rental is also available (additional charge), so you can participate empty-handed.

Ibarado River is a meandering river that freezes in winter, located near the mouth of the Ishikari River, which is easily accessible from Sapporo and Otaru. Ice fishing for smelt involves drilling holes in the ice and requires special equipment. However, at our store, our staff does the drilling work, so customers can easily enjoy fishing for smelt without bringing anything.
