It is a snowshoe experience tour of Shina Discovery. In the morning, I want to enjoy the gliding of fresh snow to the fullest! I will be returning by the first bullet train in the afternoon, so it is only available in the morning. However, I would like to wear snowshoes and go out for a walk in the winter forest! It is a half-day snowshoe experience tour that meets such requests. A mountaineering guide certified by the Japan Mountain Guide Association will guide you through the winter forest in a fun and safe way. A guide in English is also available! ～ Flow of the day ～ 12:55 After a brief explanation of the group tour in front of the lift ticket office on the 1st floor of Hotel Tangram, we moved to the tour start point by a guided shuttle car. 13:15 Tour start First of all, a lecture on how to wear snowshoes and how to use poles. 14:00 Walk in the snow forest Observe the winter buds of the trees and dive into the fluffy fresh snow! 14:30 Tea time Make a table and chairs out of snow and have a tea time. The guide will make hot tea. 15:15 Tour end We will return to the meeting place by the guided shuttle car and dissolve.
When you hear the word "winter forest", the leaves of the trees may fall and you may feel lonely. But that's not the case. There are many surprises and discoveries in the winter forest, such as chasing animal footprints, enjoying the snow art created by the wind, and observing the winter buds of trees and animal footprints! And even beginners can easily handle snowshoes that can walk around freely on such snow. Shina Discovery uses MSR's Denaria Cent.
During the Shina Discovery tour, your guide will take a photo of you during the tour and give it as a memory of your trip after the tour. (Only for those who wish)
The half-day snowshoe tour will be held by choosing the best condition of the day from the many spots around Madarao Kogen. Sometimes you can use a lift to go on a scenic tour to the top of the mountain! If you have a request, we will consider it, so please feel free to contact us.

Plan attractions
Quiet and beautiful walking in a pure white forest The sound of my footsteps and breathing as I step on the snow in the silence, and the trees in white clothes. The area around Madarao Kogen is dotted with wonderful spots such as beautiful giant beech forests, frozen lakes, and mountain peaks with spectacular views.
Animal tracking The snow is dotted with footprints of many animals. Is this footprint a fox? Is it an antelope? If you look up overhead, you may also find a bear shelf. Enjoy animal tracking in the winter snow forest.
MSR snowshoes Shina's Discovery tour uses MSR Denali Ascent. Lightweight, equipped with a heel lifter and easy to climb. MSR shifts are available for children and people with small feet.
