Playing in the snow in Nagano Prefecture! !! This plan is recommended for families and groups. Make a kamakura with plenty of snow. Experience making kamakura once in your life! !! After making the kamakura, try various snow activities such as sledding and making a snowman. How to play is free! Let's enjoy playing in the snow with your whole body! Lunch will be prepared by all the participants around the hearth ☆ The crackling sound of charcoal fire and the gently warming hearth end will give you a relaxing and gentle time.
Iiyama City, in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, is a special heavy snowfall area. The venue "Iiyama-ri no Ie" has about 2m of snow every year!
Lunch is served around the hearth at "Iiyama-ri no Ie", an old folk house about 150 years old. A large iron pot is hung on the free hook hung from the high ceiling, and you can see the good old Japanese scenery.
You can enjoy the world of snow, which is a bit different from ski resorts.

If you are driving, please come in a 4x4 or bring chains. In addition, please participate in solid clothes that can play in the snow, such as waterproof clothes. |

Iyama Satono Ie
25 minutes from Joshinetsu Expressway Toyota Iiyama Interchange *This area is in a particularly heavy snowfall area. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare. Reservations are accepted from 30 minutes in advance. *There are three roads that will lead you to Iiyama Sato's house, but please take the northernmost road. Please follow the route https://bit.ly/3p0PfQA on this map. *Tire chains are a must for two-wheel drive vehicles.
Get off at JR Iiyama Station (Hokuriku Shinkansen, Iiyama Line). From Iiyama Station, take the Nagaden Bus Express Togari Onsen Ski Resort Line to JR Iiyama Station (9:05) → Get off at Shinanodaira bus stop (9:17). We will come to pick you up after you get off at Shinanodaira bus stop. Bus timetable here: https://rb.gy/946qu4. Guests coming by public transport will generally be picked up to the bus stop. Guests staying at Togari Onsen will be picked up to their accommodation, so please let us know the name, address and phone number of the accommodation you are staying at.
