Playing in the snow in Nagano Prefecture! !! This plan is recommended for families and groups. Make a kamakura with plenty of snow. Experience making kamakura once in your life! !! After making the kamakura, try various snow activities such as sledding and making a snowman. How to play is free! Let's enjoy playing in the snow with your whole body! Lunch will be prepared by all the participants around the hearth ☆ The crackling sound of charcoal fire and the gently warming hearth end will give you a relaxing and gentle time.
Iiyama City, in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, is a special heavy snowfall area. The venue "Iiyama-ri no Ie" has about 2m of snow every year!
Lunch is served around the hearth at "Iiyama-ri no Ie", an old folk house about 150 years old. A large iron pot is hung on the free hook hung from the high ceiling, and you can see the good old Japanese scenery.
You can enjoy the world of snow, which is a bit different from ski resorts.

Iyama Satono Ie
25 minutes from Toyota-Iiyama Interchange on the Joshinetsu Expressway. *This area is in a particularly heavy snow area. Please allow yourself plenty of time. Registration begins 30 minutes before the event. *There are three short roads that lead to Iiyama Village House, but please take the northernmost one. Follow the route on the map here: https://x.gd/5jv0f. *If you are coming by private car or rental car, please use studless tires. Also, tire chains are a must for two-wheel drive vehicles.
Get off at JR Iiyama Station (Hokuriku Shinkansen, Iiyama Line). From Iiyama Station, take the Nagaden Bus Express Togari Onsen Ski Resort Line to JR Iiyama Station (9:05) → Get off at Shinano-daira bus stop (9:17). We will come to pick you up after you get off at Shinano-daira bus stop. Bus timetables are available here: https://x.gd/8COHH. Guests arriving by public transport will generally be picked up to the bus stop. Guests staying at Togari Onsen will be picked up to their accommodation, so please let us know the name, address, and phone number of your accommodation.
